I have no timeline.. all I was given was 'soon'.. Soon to a company like Disney could mean a month, or 6 months..but considering the issues that they are having with MSEP.. sooner the better.

Confirmed for me anyway.. My sources has told me Spectro is indeed coming back soon.. the #1 reason is that MSEP is all but falling apart... MSEP's age, and the fact that it hasn't been full refurbed in years have combined to make the parade floats and even costuming a constant challenge..

Look for Spectro to return in the near future.. My source on this is ROCK SOLID, so I trust it 110%

I'll be happy for the change if it happens, only because it is a change. If I have to pick only one to see, I pick MSEP. But if Spectro comes back, I'll just hope that MSEP gets refurbed and used elsewhere.

And you should never trust anybody, not even Lee or Martin, 110%. I have found that it is impossible to be 110% correct.

I would prefer a new nighttime parade all together. I love the MSEP music but the parade itself is dated. I do not like Specro - at all.

It was great to have the MSEP back for a bit. I don't think any nighttime spectacular should remain unchanged for a long time (I'm looking at you Reflections of Earth). Changing out MSEP and Spectro over the course of time is a good thing in my book. It's time for Spectro to come back.

Will the spectromen retun as they were?? I was/still am hopeing MK would go back the pre 2001 or the pre 2007 heads. Or make new ones. If they can't do that, at least make them Smile!! When I saw Spectro in 2009 The men were stone-faced, no emotion. Not a good first impression of the parade I think, almost didn't see Spectro because of the new faces! I'm glad I saw it however, because everything from Mickey on, was still top of the game! It would be nice to see at least one new thing in Spectro!

Keep swapping out an old parade for an ancient one once a decade and acting like it's a big deal and, inevitably, fans -- who don't actually expect to ever get new product -- will wet themselves with excitement.

Honestly, it would be nice if they parade barn went up in smoke with BOTH parades in it because otherwise 10 years from now we'll be playing the parade switchcheroo again.

I double checked, and I'm all dry here.

I'm happy for the return of a parade I enjoy over the current one (which is my personal opinion, just comparing the two.) I would of course be more excited if we were getting a whole new parade on the same or better level than Spectro.

But I doubt I'd even be moist if that announcement was made either.

Actually I had first welcomed the return of the MSEP because it was a warm childhood memory of the 1980ies, of my first visits to the World. But when I heard the present version in 2010(?) for the first time I immediately recognized that they had altered the music score and I have to admit, I always had a more lukewarm feeling about the new version. Spectromagic had a great score and after several MSEPs in the last 2 years I definitely would welcome a return of this parade.
