a.k.a. The Adventures of Pascal TR

Intro:
Welcome everyone to my very first trip report! Ahh!!! All week, I’ve been trying to be good and wait to start on my TR until I got my lesson plans for school done (they’re all due tonight), but… since I’m currently at work and am at a place where I can’t do any work on my lessons until I’m out of the office, I figured that posting the beginnings would be a good idea! :lol: As you may have read in my Pre Trip Report, this trip has definitely been a long time coming… a 4 year wait for me in fact! I was told that if I didn’t write my trip report for this trip, I would be “disowned, unfollowed, and shunned”… thanks for that one Kenzie!

In the midst of the trip, we got to celebrate both of our birthdays and Valentine’s Day, so it was a magical experience indeed.

So without further ado:

The cast:

There’s me, Courtney, who turns 23 tomorrow (AHHHH!) and this was my 19th trip to the World… and then there’s my wonderful BF, Dan, who turned 23 the day before our trip (Feb 12) and who is lucky enough (or not) to spend his first WDW visit with me!

There was a third member of our cast as well… a mischief stowaway by the name of Pascal!

The dates: February 13 through February 17, 2012


The resort: Pop Century

OMg i am jealous I always wanna get the henna done but I never do because i think i'll forget its there n smear it like nutter I am.SREiously I have the worst short term memory ever!!!! tepan edo looks cool I'll have to try it out sometime(hopefully sooner than later)I so love Illuminations,and I cry almost everytime.my most recent viewing of it is probaly the most memorable one yet ( it's in my september trip report,which I have no idea how to link to my signature) BOOOOOOOO last day I don't want it to end!!!!

Hi there from Delaware (Newark/Glasgow)!

You think people in the states are bad when they don't know where Delaware is, try traveling internationally! I just now say I am from Philadelphia (which is technically true since I lived there until 2001).

Poor Dan...you made him out to be a sensitive, crying Disney fanatic. Does he read these messages?

One year we went to the Cape May Cafe for breakfast and Goofy came over to us and was writing us notes...apparently, he was from downstate and liked to fish at the Indian River Inlet...my wife asked him if "he was from Delaware" and he adamantly shook his head no...to which I piped in with "Goofy's "friend" is from slower lower" Goofy threw his hands up and angrily walked away! :drevil:

Courtney that Illuminations story made me tear up right here at work!! lol SO. CUTE. You've got him hooked! Woot woot!!! I want to bring a Disney newbie sometime and convert them the Disney lover!!!

Of all the times we've been to Epcot, we've NEVER been in Club Cool. Shame on us!! It is on our list to do next month though!!

I also want to go over to Jellyrolls. It looks like a great time!!

My husband's first visit was in 2007 with our two boys (then ages 6 and 8). I planned every aspect of the vacation for months and he listened quietly to all my WDW talk. However, by the end of the week....he was HOOKED! We went back in 2010 and will be there again in September 2012. What a relief to watch him fall in love with Disney....what would I have done otherwise??

Anxiously awaiting the next installment. I am thinking of doing a pre-trip report for my September trip. Never done one before, but kinda feeling the bug.

Anyway, carry on....can't wait to see what cuteness you guys get into next

Thursday 2/16 - DHS and MK!!

Thursday February 16 – DHS and MK

In honor of Jess's first day at her big girl job, I give you.... an update. Aren't I a wonderful Disney BFF?

I bet I don’t even have to say what happened this morning with waking up, do I? :lol: Actually… I was up and moving prior to my show coming on, and we only watched half of the episode before I was dragging Dan out the door bouncing and screaming “Studios!!” at the top of my lungs. Ok, I wasn’t THAT bad, but I did do a little bounce on the bed with excitement.

We ran through and grabbed some light food to eat for the day…

And jumped right on the bus to head for DHS.

Once we got through the gates, we made a dash towards TSMM… both of us are competitive, so I knew Dan would enjoy this (and he wanted to see Mr. Potato Head!). On our way there, we spotted a character heading out but didn’t stop to chat.

Well, that was fun lol, and we had FPs stored to come back a little bit later, so… we decided it was time (overdue, in my opinion) to head up Sunset Blvd.

We stopped to chat with the PhotoPass lady, and got a few pictures done by her. She was madly jealous of my Pascal pin, so, of course, Pascal had to pay a visit to her as well!

Pascal was so scared, he jumped to his death! Luckily I caught him. PHEW!

And then she took one with our camera… and it was still on the awesome color accent!

Well, that was fun. Don’t worry tower, we’ll be back!!! Getting off of Tower, it was time to head over to TSMM to cash in our FP, but I decided to stop under the hat real quick to look for some pins.
