Shoes to wear!?!

I just realized we are leaving in 15 days and all we have to wear are tennis shoes or flips flops-chepie ones from Old Navy! What shoes should we wear? Is there some place that would have good ones that I could check out?

Flip flops! Old Navy ones are okay as long as they are broken in.. do not wear new ones. Much better for me.. tennis shoes blister the bottom of my feet and I can't stand it!

I took several types of tennis shoes & some flip-flops.
I found myself wearing my Keds or my Nikes most of the time.

Wear well broken in comfortable shoes. I alternate between my croc(yes, with socks!) and Mickey tenners. I always buy a new pair of Mickey tenners my first day so they are not broken in, but they are so comfortable that it doesn't matter. I would not recommend running out and buying new leather tenners at this point. The Mickey tenners are canvas. I am not a fan of the flip flop(gasp), especially at WDW. It would seem to me that you would want more protection around your foot and more support under it than a flip flop can provide. The key word, though is COMFORT!

I only brought down my Old Navy flip flops with me, 3 pairs! (I did have sneakers in my suitcase incase I needed them, but I NEVER wore them)
So my vote is flip flops :)

I bought 2 pair of crocs for our trip this past August...one pair of the clunkly black and a pair of pretty cute brown flip-flops....they were so comfy! It feels like you are walking on a cushion of air! Love 'em and highly recommend them!

Have fun!

We are going to be wearing disney crocs, with socks. We leave in 5 days, and we have heard from alot of people that the crocs are very comfortable. We will be home before you leave:(, if they are not comfortable I'll let you know.

We got back 2 weeks ago from a 9 day stay. I don't know what I would have done without my Crocs! For the first time ever my feet were not killing me at the end of the day. I alternated from my Crocs to my Nike walking shoes. Most of the time I wore the Crocs in the morning and the Nike's in the evening (we went back to the resort to change most days).

I also had a fun time collecting the jibitz to put on my Crocs too!

I always wear sneaks, but to protect your tootsies make sure you bring a good foot powder and some mole skin, you can get it in any supermarket. There is also a sandle that you can get at a good sporting goods store by tevia. My DW has been bugging me to get a pair, but I'm not a sandle person and I don't like to wear flip flops too long. Also they are not cheap, but the good ones are durable and you can get them wet, for the Fla rains and some very wet rides, ie Kali River Rapids which the bottom of the boat can have as much as 10 inches of water in it.

I suggest bringing what ever shoe you wear most at home. I have been a crocs fan way before Disney stick their nose in and made the mickey ones. They are very comfortable. I use to work in a hospital and that was the shoe of choice among nurses. But I also love wearing my running sneaks. I would cheak the weather for your vaca and decide which shoe is gonna keep ur foot cool and comfortable. I just got back like 3 weeks ago and it was burning up down there. I wore my Hav flip flops the whole time. Well except for the first night for MNSSHP that got poured on with rain. I wore my sneaks that night. Have an awesome time!!!!!!
