She wasn't talking about people at WDW. She was talking about the folks who can't help but share their insightful political wisdom on Disney message boards.

I know...I'm saying that these same people who feel themselves above the rules on the boards about political discussions, are the same ones who complain of those people at WDW. In both cases we have people who feel themselves above the rules, but I don't know. I guess I didn't make much sense. Sorry.

She has a point though. Just because other people have done it doesn't make it right. It is against forum policy, and as such it should be on oneself to regulate. If you can't regulate yourself, then don't post.

What difference does it make if she did or not?

What you posted broke forum policy. What they posted broke forum policy. Just because her reprimand was directed to you doesn't nessicarily mean that she agrees or disagrees with what you said. People have been banned from these boards for advocating both "sides". The distinction doesn't matter when you break the rules.

I leave negatives only when a line is crossed... hadn't noticed a major problem until you and the previous poster JUMPED over the line. As Steve just reinforced, there is a no political discussion rule... play by the rules and there will be no need for these issues. By the way... thanks for your anonymous neg rep!

Whether I agree with the President or not has no bearing on my judgement of your post... Bringing the terrible tragedy of a soldier losing their life in battle as a bash on the President is pathetic. You may not agree with the war, but please be more compassionate about the safety of our troops.
