Yes, I believe either way that people are getting their agenda out. Christina wasn't.

I have no idea what you define as a liberal or not, as my views spread many political party and are not confined. If you want to know why I take issue with Bush, and Clinton then you can PM me.

I have a love for America since I first visited, which isn't shared by a lot of my fellow countrymen, but I digress, I'm not afraid to disagree with it's policies.

I also believe that anything that is done with a politician is only done to gain them publicity, and that The Walt Disney Company should, as a global player, remain politically neutral.

I believe she DID have an agenda with her comment, and I'm glad you love America. This isn't about a political battle, but rather trying to get people to see the hypocrysy of their own views and comments. Again, to preface your comments (don't mean YOU) by saying Now, this isn't political but.....is in itself an admission that what you are about to say is IN FACT POLITICAL. And it's common for liberals to NEVER admit that's what they are out of fear of political doom. (please see this last years election results). There WAS a mandate for conservative family values. By some 3 1/2 million votes. that's certainly more than 500, 5000., or even 10,000.

And when someone says to me that they don't know what defines a liberal, I can only surmise: Either they don't pay very much attention to politics, or don't WANT to admit that they ARE a liberal.

As for Disney using or not using it for publicity, I say they should. No law against it, and can only be good for business.

 Ay, ay, ay I give up. Your right, I'm wrong. Better now?

See, I love a good debate and argument... but this is ridiculous.

Ciao for now. Off to study ... CANADIAN ... history.

Over the past few years, it has been my experience that it isnt possible to hold a discussion on a forum about politics without chaos brearking out. This isnt a political forum, if you wish to discuss politics, visit a political website.

I am therefore going to close the thread. Sorry to anyone who was participating in the thread without getting into politics.
