So in the day 8 trip report post I alluded to a little tip that the concierge CM helped me with in regards to dining at the Castle, or anywhere for that matter. We all know how hard it is to get ressies at the Castle. So he told me that they do leave some availability for concierge level guests as well as they leave a few open for walk ups. When we realized that we wanted to change up our last few days of ADR's - I knew I would have one extra TS and we would have to use it on our last day. There wasn't anything available at CRT for bfast that day but there was at Crystal Palace. So I made the CP ressie and took a gamble with the CM's advice. He suggested that I head to the podium and see if they have had any openings at Cinderella Round Table. I took a gamble and it worked!!! We walked up and got a ressie for 9 am!!! (NOTE: the conceriege said that even though there is availablity for all meals this way, it really never works for dinner. The reason is b/c people come first thing in the morning to make ressies for the evening so they are all used up for walk ups right away.) We did walk over to Crystal Palace and tell them that we would not be using that one. And I wandered around on Main Street and took pics while my DH rested on a bench.

Main Street in the Morning!

It was time for breakfast and we got a window seat for two!

IMG_4308.JPG

Inside the Castle is amazing!

IMG_4312.JPG

IMG_4311.JPG

I love how they do the breakfast here! To introduce each princess, they tell the story of that princess!! Oh, and breakfast is served at your table - with lots of options! The cinnamon rolls - AMAZING!!

IMG_4314.JPG

My prince!

IMG_4315.JPG

We also so Jasmine and Belle!

After breakfast we headed to go see Mickey in Toon Town. I don't usually venture here but we had to see Mickey! And on our way, we rode Snow White which had no wait.

IMG_4319.JPG

We hoped on the train and took it to Frontier Land to see if we could ride BTM again, but the wait was up to 35 mins so we opted out. We grabbed a FP for JC and headed to ride Haunted Mansion. We made our way back to Pirates for one last trip!

IMG_4333.JPG

IMG_4334.JPG

After riding, we saw the Pirate Academy! VERY VERY EXCELLENT!

IMG_4338.JPG

We had to get going so we opted out of riding the JC one more time but we did find the Hidden Mickey on the sign!

We were going to have hotdogs at Casey's but Niles suggested Tony's Town Square instead. It was right at lunch time so we didn't know if we could get a table. When we put our name in, the CM told us we would have to sit outside. But when they seated us, we were inside!

We did a lot last minute shopping and on our way out of the park, we got to see the Celebration Party Block Party! Yeah! So fun!

And good bye to our home away from home...

IMG_4378.JPG

All in all, this was an amazing vacation! All the planning and time spent ahead of time was well worth it. And like on each trip, we have learned something new. Even with 9 days there, it wasn't enough time to do everything. Now we probably could of if we went on super speed, but we wanted to enjoy the moment and not just feel like we had to get to one more thing.

Next time, we are going to hit Down Town Disney, we did miss going there and grab a pint at Raglan Road b/c we still have not been there!!

And we are going to do Kim Possible - it looks way fun!!

And we are going to do the American Idol experience next time! We did learn that the show you want to do is the last show, that is when they have the finals!

And we'll catch Fantasmic next time too!

But other then these few things, we did everything that we wanted to do and more! It was a dream come true vacation!!

I am sending you all Pixie Dust who are busy planning your up coming vacations and hope that they are your dream come true!!

See you real soon Mickey!

I have so enjoyed your threads and I know I have said it in some of your day reports, but reading everything & seeing the pictures made me feel like I had a chance to be there. and the very end where you said good bye to our home away from home makes me want to cry too. Again thanks for sharing!

Just an amazing TR! I loved the detail, all the pictures, and the little "tips" too - it was all great! Although one of your tips about the majority of people heading right... I read in the Unofficial Guide that that is not true (I don't know myself, just repeating what I read:shrug:)!

Can I ask what time you ate Chefs des France? I was told by a CM over the phone (and I read it here on these boards as well) that Remy does indeed appear at dinner. I was told he appears three times during lunch (or during the lunch dining time frame) and only once during dinner (at or around 5pm). I have an ADR for 5:40... the CM that I was speaking with on the phone told me to show up a little early for my ADR and hopefully I would get to see Remy! Don't know if she knew what she was talking about but that's what I was told!?!

Again... an excellent TR! Thanks for taking the time to post and share. It was a pleasure a read... I even stayed up late to finish it!!! :snore: :animwink:

Aww the last day is definitely always sad!

Love the pictures of your GF room! It was gorgeous! And I love the MK pictures before your breakfast!

Loved your trip report!! This trip will be our last one for awhile as well. We've been down every year for the past 10 years and it's time to do other things with DS now that he's 12. We're planning a trip out west next summer, haven't been since I was 12! Good luck with your move, are you moving out of state?
