Our Dream Vaca Trip Report - Day 9 - Last Day

Our last day! A sad day! But I tried really hard not be sad and to just enjoy the day. I took loads of pics of the GF and our room! See all the hidden characters!!

Tinkerbell is hiding on the comfortor!

I just got done readin all 9 days of your TR, and I gotta say it was very well detailed and thought out. Loved all the pics! We go in Sept. and I definitely wanna do my TR like this. Glad you guys had so much fun, now I really can't wait to go!!!!:wave:

Loved your trip report!! This trip will be our last one for awhile as well. We've been down every year for the past 10 years and it's time to do other things with DS now that he's 12. We're planning a trip out west next summer, haven't been since I was 12! Good luck with your move, are you moving out of state?

Thank you!! I loved doing the TR! It's hard coming back to the "real world" from vacation and I have found, particularly from Disney. My DH often says that we have to have other adventures but in the end, we always come back to Disney. :lol: As for moving, right now it is planned to move in Sept where we are. But we are looking for new jobs either with in SC or out of state. We'll see what happens.

Fabulous report!! I really have to say, my favorite pictures are all the ones of you and your husband with the World Showcase hats on... so much fun :sohappy:. Thanks for sharing all the fun and excitement. We leave in three weeks for our trip and your report has me even more excited. I appreciate all the time it takes to put one together.

Thank you!! The hats were a fun idea! We couldn't figure out what kind of hat they wore in Italy though! That is why we are sitting there "thinking" instead! :lol:

Just an amazing TR! I loved the detail, all the pictures, and the little "tips" too - it was all great! Although one of your tips about the majority of people heading right... I read in the Unofficial Guide that that is not true (I don't know myself, just repeating what I read:shrug!

Can I ask what time you ate Chefs des France? I was told by a CM over the phone (and I read it here on these boards as well) that Remy does indeed appear at dinner. I was told he appears three times during lunch (or during the lunch dining time frame) and only once during dinner (at or around 5pm). I have an ADR for 5:40... the CM that I was speaking with on the phone told me to show up a little early for my ADR and hopefully I would get to see Remy! Don't know if she knew what she was talking about but that's what I was told!?!

Again... an excellent TR! Thanks for taking the time to post and share. It was a pleasure a read... I even stayed up late to finish it!!! :snore: :animwink:

If he does a dinner service, I am making the assumption it would be the early ressies that might have a chance to see him. I really don't know the specific times for Remy. Sorry. During the Keys to the Kingdom, they mentioned again the track that most people take - either going to the right or running straight for the Castle into FL. I have always heard this so I'm assuming its accurate. Thanks for staying up to read the TR! It was a lot of fun to put together!! :lol:

I have so enjoyed your threads and I know I have said it in some of your day reports, but reading everything & seeing the pictures made me feel like I had a chance to be there. and the very end where you said good bye to our home away from home makes me want to cry too. Again thanks for sharing!

Well, I'll have to keep my fingers crossed that Remy does show up for dinner! That's interesting info... maybe I'll have to head left and see how the crowds are! We're usually the people running through the castle into FL b/c that's where our kids love to start every day in the MK!

I can't tell you how much I love that comforter! I'm always on the look out for hidden Tinks - that's a good one! I've never seen those kind s of details on the rooms - nice touch!

No, it was like at 1 pm about? It did not replace the parade but rather added, similar to the block party at DHS. It was fun! Not very long and quite literally ran into it when we left the shops! hee hee :lol:

We are staying at the Contemporary. This will be my first time staying there and I am really excited about it. We usually stay at the Wilderness but I wanted to be on the monorail. The free dining plan helped us out with the "upgrade". Disney magic at work!!
