Here is a video of Jay's speech regarding the FL expansion. It has all the concept art, plus a few I ahven't seen yet.

Ok, this video indicates a few things to me. First off - I didn't put together that the Be Our Guest restaurant and Gaston's Tavern were going to be two separate things. The former is the table service and the latter is the quick service.

As for the Dumbo Spinners, I'm assuming it's this photo:

That's causing the wide speculation about the different size of the spinners (with one being Aladdin). I thought they both had 16 spokes, can someone confirm that? Allears has Aladdin at 16 spokes, 4 guests per vehicle. I know Dumbo is 2 guests per vehicle but I'm not sure how many spokes.

As for the comparisons between the concept art and the blue prints. It could mean several things. First - the concept art is just that, "concept" art. It's not likely going to be exactly to scale, and even the placement of some things may be inaccurate.

As for the other attractions near Dumbo. A Casey Jr. Train appears in the photo above. Could we perhaps see an expanded track of the Barnstormer and have that become a Casey Jr. Coaster? They have it in France...

I see NO ONE "ed".

I feel like some of you just need someone to complain about here.

It was nice to see Rasulo without a Cheneyesque sneer on his face. Someone must have tickled him before he went on stage.

The only negative I've seen brought up is that it looks like it's designed only for girls/under 10s, which is a very understandable criticism.

It's also a very understandable stratagy, when a good have of the population thinks Magic Kingdom they think Princesses, now there will be places that are well themed and visually appealing to guests that don't wan't to visit with them instead of a big "TENT" that no one ever would have wanted to see if not for the meet and greet. Wow talk about a run on sentence.

Yeah, the only things that look like they'll be more interesting to older visitors are the Mermaid ride and the Beauty and the Beast restaurants, especially the Gaston one because of his large internet fandom. And of course how glorious it's all gonna look when it's done. Just Scenery brought into three dimensions

Get the hell outta my Adventureland Aladdin!

:sohappy:

Yep...Adventureland was so cool when it was more open near the Tropical Serenade (speaking of, can we please have the DL Tiki Room show brought to WDW in time for the 2011!!!!) ....with the Aladdin ride it seems so cramped like being in a Walmart! :)
