So why do we want to join D23 again? And for how much?

Was it for the "insider information" and other crap that we ALL knew about for MONTHS? I can pay money to join D23, fly to DL, and then sit through hyped up stuff that I can read about and see pictures of MINUTES after the rumors we knew about months ago are finally confirmed?

Now that we have seen our first D23 convention for X amount of dollars, wherein lies the need to join it?

Well...being a Florida resident and understanding that next year's D23 expo is supposedly going to be here in Florida (hope that is still their plan) we will have a membership and will attend...just because it looks like it was a lot of fun and hey its Disney!

well, as usual, the senior members of this site are ed off that they didnt get what they wanted, but the casual visitor is very happy! cant some of you just appreciate anything, or do you just hate life cause its not your way? happy for those of us who think the changes are welcomed!!!!!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

People have different expectations, needs, likes, dislikes and of course mental capacity to process the information provided and arrive at an opinion beyond that of an over excited school girl. :shrug:

I've heard otherwise, I believe they've signed a deal with the anaheim convention center till 2011 or 12.

Yesterday I was looking at a sortable directory on wdwpress/twitter, however when I try to get to that page today nothing is showing up. This was the page that had the links to all of the concept art - was anyone else on this page, and are they able to get back there?

They smartened up at some point after the announcements and set a redirect for that URL to go to their twitter page.
I was actually surprised. Usually Disney web people can't handle something like that.

The only negative I've seen brought up is that it looks like it's designed only for girls/under 10s, which is a very understandable criticism.

And even that's a bit off.

These aren't your regular M/G's....It's a whole experience, and a whole new area to explore.

Did anyone else catch the end of Jay's sppech where he say Eventually you will be able to visit the Fairies in Pixie Hollow?

I'm guessing that that will be the last thing to open.

And that might not even hold to be true. As much as the D23 Expo did something great, attendance was still low, from what I have heard.
