Well this is exciting! I really want to subscribe but since no one has received it yet, I think I'm going to wait a little bit longer. To anyone who subscribed: Please post as soon as you get it!! :wave:

I'm a little bit concerned, since I sent an e-mail before business hours this morning and have heard nothing back from the company. :(

I wouldn't worry about. I went back to check the times on my emails. I sent mine at 1:25p and got my response at close to 9:30p. They'll get back to you soon.

They may be trying to hustle hustle since it's getting close to the time when we've been promised our magazines. They probably sense the pitchforks and mobs coming out soon so they're trying their best to get it out on time or as close to press time as possible. Now if by the first week of October I don't hear something, then I'll be shining up my :fork: pitchfork. When you get your email, let us know what it said. :wave:

I'll wait for reviews but looks really cool...probably subscribe since my ESPN subscription just ran out and my SI one is almost up so I think I will go with a change of pace.

I too was wondering if anyone knew when to expect it...just checked this thread a few days ago to see if anyone had posted anything. So, add me to the mailbox checkers :p Cant wait.

Well, I still haven't heard back from them. :( I'm pretty sure that the magazine is subscription-only for right now.

I just checked my mailbox and had no mail at all, then logged on here and saw that there was a new post in this thread. I was really hoping it was someone saying that they just received their magazine today and that I could then expect mine anytime! :lol:

But I do remember reading, either on the posts in this thread, or on the website, that it will be subscription only for the time being.

I don't know when the Celebrations website was updated, but it now says this:

The 80-page first issue of Celebrations will premiere in late September/early October of 2008, with a new issue every other month.

I'm pretty sure the website always said the first issue would be out late Sept or early Oct...

btw...it's been a week since the last person posted on here. I'm waiting for my issue...has ANYONE seen theirs issue yet? I'm anxious! I'm also worried that my postman might keep it because it looks more interesting than most of the mags he sees (I don't trust the postman in my new neighborhood like I trusted my last postman...:lookaroun)

I have a postman like this too....he even looks like Newman from Seinfeld. :lookaroun I've seen him parked in my neighbor's driveway when they weren't home, reading their magazines before putting them into their mailbox. He also left a box with $75 worth of dvds from amazon.com sitting on TOP of my mailbox because he was too lazy to walk to my porch.

I REALLY hope this magazine is available for purchase at the parks. I know they've said it wouldn't be available at regular newstands early on, but I hope they make an exception for the parks. I would love to buy it during my late October trip.

Unless someone got their's today, I guess we can officially now say that it will be (or at least, hopefully be), early October 2008. :shrug:
