What do you mean by that?

I initially asked a similar question; if he just subscribed and can't wait to get it? Or if he just got it and can't wait to sit down and read it. But I erased off the question after seeing his post count (1 post) and concluding that he probably means that he just subscribed and can't wait to get it.

However, I suppose it's possible that he's been lurking around long enough to have subscribed a while back when he saw this thread, and just now decided to post for the first time.

I didn't know I was making a joke, but as long as I can make someone laugh, one way or another, I suppose I'm doing good.

It's Ok - you think out loud. It's not a bad thing. I just had to show appreciation for your post. I went through the same mental process you did when I read it.

Yes
I emailed them about payment options and the dude emailed me back within minutes. He said they are going to press as we speak and it should be a few weeks.

Not old, just vintage.
Add me to the list of people waiting by their mailboxes.

If it isn't going to come until later in October now, that is fine by me. Good things come to those who wait. Plus, it will probably come shortly after I come back from my next Disney trip and I will be in need of a good dose of Disney magic.

Plus if it's every other month, that'll line us up for a nice Christmas issue! :xmas:

I only hope that they put the magazine in plastic or some kind of protection other than my mailing address posted across the cover.

Speaking of plastic, I remember the days when the "dirty" magazines were not in plastic and just on the shelf with all the other magazines. I was 14 at the time, and decided I wanted to see some skin, so I went up to the store downtown and looked around to make sure no one was looking, and then I picked up a dirty magazine and thumbed through it. Put it back, and peeked around again to make sure I was still in the clear, then looked at a couple others. When I put the last one down, I turned around, and there was the owner of the store standing right behind me. "I'll tell ya what", he said. "Why don't we just call your Dad and ask him if it's okay to look at those books?". :ROFLOL: I managed to persuade him not to, by telling him it wouldn't happen again, and it didn't...at least not in one of his stores.

Sorry, that had nothing to do with this new magazine. But every time I think of magazines coming in those plastic covers, I think back to that day 18 years ago, and swear that I'm the reason why so many magazines come in plastic nowdays. :ROFLOL::ROFLOL:

A little more on topic...my wife subscribes to a magazine or two and they don't come in plastic, and I never really expected this one to, either. I never even thought of it until you mentioned it, so who knows, maybe it will. As long as I get my magazine soon, I really don't care.

Yeah, I doubt that it will come in plastic. It would be nice to keep the paper nice an crisp.

Orlando Attractions just puts that sticker on and sends them out. (They're running a bit behind as well right now~shipping-wise~) so I'm expecting to recieve both mags around the same time.

EDIT: On their website, they got rid of the shipping late Sept / early October. Now it just says early October - so they are updating their site little by little.

I'm glad this thread is still going. I must have missed it. I just got my subscription. I also sent an e-mail asking when I would get my first issue. If I hear anything I'll post it.

My issues of Martha Stewart Living come in plastic and they aren't dirty :lookaroun

It would be nice if they do the plastic, since this is a collectible magazine. I usually frown on it because it seems wasteful but I think it can be justified in this case. My two other mag subscriptions (mental floss and entertainment weekly) don't come in plastic and I prefer that, since I read them and then recycle them by giving them to someone else. If I decide to subscribe to this Disney mag (haven't yet) then I would likely want to keep all of them.

I had a dream last night that I got my magazine in the mail. But alas, it was only a dream. :(

Maybe this coming week, it will finally arrive.
