I emailed them a little bit ago to see whether or not it has been mailed out yet, and here is the reply I just received:

Hi Steve!
I'm happy to say that the first issue is at the mail house (we had to take an extra week or two to make sure everything was just right), and will be going out shortly, you should be receiving it soon. Thanks for your patience, and I do hope you enjoy it...! :)

Does anyone know where the magazine is being shipped from? The way the mail has been running, if it went out today it should be in my mailbox no later than Wednesday!!!!!!

I don't know, but from the email I posted, it doesn't look like's it's been mailed out yet. He said it's at the mailhouse right now, and should go out shortly.

But as to your question, if it helps any, I have a friend in Cashiers, NC who dropped a package for me in the mail on a Tuesday, and I received it that Friday, here in Central Illinois.

Also, I don't know if you noticed, but the Celebrations website changed. It no longer states the submittal of the first issue AND there is an order selection for previous magazine issue (namely the first issue)! This is gonna be a LONG week....

lol. what a horrible week for this mag to be coming in the mail. I have 2 exams this week, and 2 more exams and a presentation the following week!

but obviously, after the anticipation, the mag is way more important! I hope I get it first!

ugh....

there was a thick magazine in my mailbox last night when I checked it! I got excited!!!

Turned out to just be my next issue of Yachting Magazine... :brick:

hey...I can dream! The subscription was free anyway!

This magazine is supposed to be 80 pages. At first, that sounded like a good sized magazine, but then when I pulled out my old issues of "The Disney Magazine", I see that they were around 80 pages as well. So I guess 80 pages isn't as much as at sounds. I just hope the 80 pages of this magazine contain more substance than that other one, which was mostly advertisements.
