"Stephenie Meyer is alot like J.K.Rowling, in that her stories reach a certain audience, the only difference is that Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn."

Stephen King

And trust me, the last thing you'd want to do is force me to watch the movies.

Remember, I live my life like a certain TV show about a Man and Two Robots stuck in space, forced to watch bad movies.

It would be more torture for Twilight fans than it would be for me...

Which would include me (30 something married stay at home mom), my cousin (16 year old girl), my sister in law (40 something single working mom), my husband (40 something year old), my brother (thirty something single with no kids), my stepmother (60 something year old), and believe it or not...my grandmother (80 something year old).

I would not call that a "certain" audience! Unless Stephen King is referring to my family when he says "certain audience":lookaroun.

That's funny, I would say the EXACT same thing about Stephen King - I tried to read the garbage he wrote and couldn't. :hurl:
S. Meyer is escapist fiction, true, but I like reading it....to each his own. Looking very much forward to this movie. :)

I never read any of the books and I'm not totally into the series, but I'm looking forward to seeing it as I saw the first movie and want to see how it is continued!!

My granddaughter got me hooked on the books, then the first movie, so the second movie is a must. Going to the Sat AM showing as it's just $5.00 and not as crowded.

Tyler's rules of Order says that since Evan has so many posts,he just needs one person to agree.
I like this idea.

Same here, I love the books and movie and I am in your age category and stay at home mom, DD 11 loves it as does DS 14 and hubby. This movie is going to be huge by the looks of ticket sales here anyway so apparently it appeals to alot more than people want to realize

Am I the only one who thinks all of the people in the Twilight movies are ugly?..Men and women..

Robert Pattinson is totally beautiful in the movies not so much when he is all scrubby. Taylor Lautner remids me of Donny Osmond for some reason lol.. I think it is his teeth.

I and all of my 20-30 year old friends (about 10 of us) can't wait for the release of New Moon. It's hit across the pond too!

Granted, we are split between Team Jacob and Team Edward, but i think Team Jacob is winning right now!

Although I enjoyed the film, however, I don't think it really did justice to the book, but it hasn't stopped me watching it far too many times!

Go Team Jacob!

Twilight the film didn't explore the relationship that was built with Bella and Alice and that was by and far my favorite part of the book, and I was sad that the film didn't explore that...

God bless the "Ignore" button.
I won't say anything about the books, but having seen the first movie, I have ZERO interest in anything Twilight.
It was just awful.
