Steinbeck, focuses on the depression too much, though I enjoyed Red Pony...

Verne-great writer I just don't enjoy his work it's not in my favs
Christie-I appreciate her work because of the strides she made for female writters
Now, add:
Hawthrone
Bronte
Austin
Lousia May Alscott
Etc. I prefer 18th and 19th century writters...:shrug:
