We need to have his head examined.Eh, you gave it a chance. It's not for everyone. I know a few people who are in the same situation as you.
Although, I did get one of my guy friends hooked. Not that he would admit it. But in one month he had read all 4 books. It made me giggle.
The first 150 pages of Twi were depressing enough...:lookarounEven though the depression part of New Moon was simply HORRIBLE to get through.
I had the same thought. I threw up in my mouth a couple times.:lookaroun
:sohappy:Mystery Novels,classics,and I did read HP
Yes, you have the redeeming factor of History...:kiss:I read the classics as well, so you can't say my taste in works is completley mistaken...

Verne-great writer I just don't enjoy his work it's not in my favs
Christie-I appreciate her work because of the strides she made for female writters
Now, add:
Hawthrone

Austin
Lousia May Alscott
Etc. I prefer 18th and 19th century writters...
Knew you were from California! :lookarounI really live Verne, just something very immersive and imaginative about his works.
Knew you were from California! :lookaroun
Seriously, the literature of America from 20, 30, 50 years ago is better than New Moon.
Just my opinion. Prefer werewolves more than vampires nowadays - oh wait, never mind. :lookaroun
We had that ages ago. Go for it!This settles it! We need a What Are You Reading thread
