^Christa is always confused or confusing....:lookaroun:lol:
Eh, you gave it a chance. It's not for everyone. I know a few people who are in the same situation as you.

Although, I did get one of my guy friends hooked. Not that he would admit it. But in one month he had read all 4 books. It made me giggle.
We need to have his head examined.

Nick's , too...:lookaroun

Even though the depression part of New Moon was simply HORRIBLE to get through.
The first 150 pages of Twi were depressing enough...:lookaroun

I had the same thought. I threw up in my mouth a couple times.:lookaroun

Mystery Novels, classics, and I did read HP
:sohappy:
Who? Sounds like me!
I read the classics as well, so you can't say my taste in works is completley mistaken...
Yes, you have the redeeming factor of History...:D

Letseeee....Steinbeck, Christie, VERNE, (love him!!), MccCulough, Fitzgerald....and that's just one shelf that I looked at just now.:D
Steinbeck, focuses on the depression too much, though I enjoyed Red Pony...
Fitzgerald-FTW:sohappy:
Verne-great writer I just don't enjoy his work it's not in my favs
Christie-I appreciate her work because of the strides she made for female writters
Now, add:
Hawthrone
Bronte
Austin
Lousia May Alscott
Etc. I prefer 18th and 19th century writters...

Verene is pretty much my fav.

Always wanted a TL based off him.

Those are some of my favorites right there...I also like To Kill A Mockingbird and Mark Twain...
I just got into him. He's WONDERFUL.

And go to Paris. ;)

Mockingbird is a fave, here, too.

This settles it! We need a What Are You Reading thread

I really love Verne, just something very immersive and imaginative about his works.
Yes, and I love it! I vote you start it cause you have a following, I'm just the girl that goes ok y'all let's not fight, c'mon it's not worth it...and then they ignore me so...
