Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It! Street Party preview performance photos and video

Looks too casual for my taste, like AK's Jammin' Jungle or Studio's Block Party Bash.
While I like that parade AKthere because it fits a more casual theme, I don't care for Block Party, and I like more formality (for lack of a better word) in MK.

I'm confused.

I saw a parade in January that I believe was called the same thing but the parade was basically the same as the "Family Fun" and "Share a Dream Come True" parade except for the first float.

Is this an entirely new parade or are they still using the same floats as the ones they've been using since 2001?

BTW: Cinderella Castle's blue paint reflects sunlight just horribly...

I really hope the paint lightens as time goes by because it really doesn't look good in pictures.

This looks a lot BETTER than I was expecting... you have to consider what this replaced (the family fun day parade) and I think this looks MUCH better than that
I think so too---I wasn't expecting much at all after seeing FFDP, and this is a nice improvement.

This replaces the Family Fun Parade and has new floats for it.

Really.:)

I enjoyed whatever parade I saw back in January but I honestly thought that Disney was taking the cheap route by just changing up the first float.

I think this parade looks great and I can't wait to experience it the next time I'm at Magic Kingdom.

BTW: I actually LIKE the party hats.:)

While looking at the WDWMagic News history page I found out that the parade I saw back in January was the "Celebrate a Dream Come True" parade which does look a lot different from this new one but I'm assuming obviously shares the same theme?.

Did Disney keep any thing from the "Celebrate a Dream" parade (such as the dancers) in this new parade? Or was everything changed? Why would Disney premiere a "new" parade that lasted only for less than a month?

And is the soundtrack for the new parade the same as "Celebrate a Dream's?"

This did not replace CADCT. CADCT is the major MK daytime parade at 3pm. Move It, Shake It is another entertainment offering along with CADCT, DAWM, Spectromagic, and Wishes.

I wasn't expecting much either from Move It, Shake It, but it looks like it was well done and fits the theme of WWYC?

Except for the REALLY bad "present character" voice actors and the clearly painted on floats (They kinda looked like plywood cutouts. This street party was clearly not designed to last.), it was surprisingly good! The actors, actresses, dancers & stilt walkers were great! The character interaction was superb! And the new costume additions? Nice! And confetti! Great to see that back! GREAT JOB PREFORMERS!!! Bad job float makers & bean counters... and where the heck are my giant blow-up characters/mickey balloons as seen in concept art?!?

P.S. What do you think the DLR people will say when they realize that this is their only parade...?

based upon your video... this street part is a great dream for a multi shoot video edit... lol

looks nice! it could be improved but considdering how much time they probably had to make this... not as bad as it could be.

It looks interesting but IMO to me it reminds me of a "really" small budget version of the parks 25th parade Remember the Magic getting guests to interact in the parade.

It def doesnt look bad, I didnt realize the floats were that large, they look large in the video. Yeah giant balloons would have been nice. The only annoying thing is that shouting dj the whole time. uggg.
