If this was the only parade at Magic Kingdom I would be kind of disappointed, but the fact that this is something in addition to the main 3:00 parade I see it only as a positive.

Doesn't look too bad. I will make sure to check this out in October. But, one thing, did I hear Hannah Montana in there somewhere?? :hurl:

Nice there's additional entertainment, I guess, though nobody in our family (me, wife, son 14 and daughter 5) cares about the live entertainment. Its just too hokey for us I guess. The only parade I remember really enjoying was the Main Street Electrical Parade...now that's a parade!

^I don't think so. I believe that they've made great pains to keep her out (besides in places like DHS & DTD). That's good.

Well, you don't actually hear her voice, but.........

The first song used, "Pumping Up the Party", is from the Hannah Montana tv show.

The second song used, "Breakout", is from Miley's album of the same name.

They also use the song "Shake it" by Metro Station, a band featuring none other than Miley's brother, Trace Cyrus.

Don't think they try to keep her out. They look for ways to put her in.

P.S. What do you think the DLR people will say when they realize that this is their only parade...?
DLR's concept are looks a bit different then what debuted at MK-

Good news word has it will only be around for about 7-8 months till ACF takes over for the Holidays and then the Worlds of Wonder parade is suppose to kick in for the 55th sometime in 2010.

So show times for this are 11:00, 12:30 and 5:15 for tomorrow(Sat 14) right?

From my understanding, this is not a parade but a street party around the hub. The parade I believe is still "Celebrate a Dream Come True", this just goes up Main St wraps around the hub, them does a show, then goes back down main st and back stage.

You are correct!

I actually like the way this looks. It has a great mix of rare and VIP characters. The cast looks like they are really into it. Plus, it puts The Family Fun Day Parade to shame.

Nice job Disney! :sohappy:

Huh. More than what I was expecting, I must say. The interaction is astounding, and the character list is rather impressive (some you don't see to often in there); definitely makes up for the lack there of in CADCT. I can see though that if this isn't your thing, you will want to avoid the hub at all costs when this is going on.

Overall, pretty good! A nice improvement over the FFD Parade, except...

THAT DJ WAS FREAKIN ANNOYING!!! Someone tell him to take it down a notch!!! :dazzle: :brick:

Personally, I think this is super cute. While I wouldn't want to see it more than once, I do think that it's something that would be neat for families with kids. The characters in those party hats are freakin' adorable. I think that for what it is, that Disney did a great job. :)

Impressive!~

Seems to be so much better than Family Fun Day Parade. As others have said, character interaction is really good. Personally, I would still rather have a "magical" theme rather than the "party" theme, but it's still not bad.

Now if only they can add more characters to Celebrate a Dream Come True, then we'll be set until we can get a BRAND NEW PARADE (hear me Disney?) for the 40th.

I agree with many people that it looks to have that much-needed character interaction. I think it looks like a fun ride, can't wait to see more of it! :D

I also agree that the DJ sucks, but I've only seen the online video.

Does anyone know where the Parade of Dreams is going at Disneyland once this parade debuts there?

Parade of Dreams didn't come back after Christmas and apparently has been cut permanently. Supposedly, Disneyland's version of Move It Shake It (called Celebrate! A Street Party) will be longer and more extravagant to make up for the fact that it's all they'll have until the 55th anniversary.
