I have always felt really sorry for people who don't read.
I don't think they really know what they're missing.

Yeah, people who don't read habitually are really missing out.

There are a lot of books and pamphlets that have really changed who I see myself and the world. The mark of a great piece of art.

The Barnes & Noble that we go to is one of my favorite places on earth.
But sometimes I'll walk in there and actually get a bit depressed because I want to read everything!
I can't stand the thought that there is a book somewhere in that store that I would absolutely love, but I might never know it.
I'm a little crazy when it comes to books, I know, but I've loved to read ever since I learned how!

I have ALWAYS loved to read. My husband reads only technical manuals and only for information - never for pleasure. In the early days of our marriage, he would see me sitting and reading a book and say, "Why don't you go DO something?"  It took me forever to convince him that I actually WAs doing something I enjoyed very much.

heehee! I think I feel that way too. Reading is great and I've been doing it since I was 2! I will read anything that is put in front of me. I think that's why I like these boards so much. It's something else for me to read!

~puts the fun in Reading is Fundamental~
I lived in my books when I was younger. An 8 yr old with a 12th grade reading level, I read anything I could get my hands on: medical journals, newspapers, my brothers' summer reading lists... That is part of the reason why I have been introduced to such unusual subjects and philosophies. By the time I graduated high school, I had a very different perspective on the world around me. My favorite hobbies are still reading and writing fiction.

You sound very much like me.
I also had a 12th grade reading level at age 8. And I have also loved to read anything and everything. Reading is still my favorite thing to do and I write as well, though not fiction.
I love the English language, and for someone who doesn't speak well, writing is my outlet. One of the reasons I love it here so much. :)

Good Morning everyone, I'm just catching up. I had to go to the neurologist this morning to have my meds adjusted, ICK....

Ditto for me on reading, I read like mad...or I used to before I had MJ anyway....I love to read and never have enough time or money for all of the books I want to read...

Good night, everyone!

We had a pretty good day, MJ did have some rough spots, but we had some awesome stuff happen too.

Our favorite interpreter was doing Studios, we saw BatB, it was awesome (as usual) MJ asked to meet Mrs. Potts and Chip and the Stage manager is going to try and arrange that for Thursday for us.

She got to meet Jedi Mickey (who was sooo good with her and spent a lot of time with her) Chewbacca (who she was afraid of, I took her up in my arms, but is now talking about non stop, so we'll try to see him again Friday)

We saw the Power Rangers and Uncle Sam was with them, so he escorted us from the Animation Courtyard through the madhouse on Mickey Avenue. we love Uncle Sam :)

She got flowers painted on her arms. The face painters are so good to her:)

We ran into our friend Joshua who just adores MJ and she adores him back, so we got to spend time with him, that was great :) We saw the Star Wars Hoopla, it was a very funny show with lots of singing and dancing, we all liked it a lot.

We got to see our friend Keith and made plans to spend this Thursday with him at MGM.

It looks like we'll spend a lot of time at MGM this weekend and then we're going to MK Sat with MJ's Goddaddy for Gay Days. It'll be the first time he's spent any time in the parks with her, so it should be interesting, you can't really understand MJ in the parks until you've been there with her :)

Andrew has to work today, I plan on spending more time working on MJ's website...

Hi Brenda! How nice to see you, how are you doing? We still gotta get together, I have the van everyday now since Andrew commutes in with MJ's godfather.
