Well since my "likes" were noticed, I guess I'll say that yes, what I have heard involves Epcot, though I don't know too many details. I'm curious to see if what @WDW1974 is hearing is the same as what I'm hearing. Anyhow, hopefully Spirit will be able to find out some more information on this and let all of us know :)
What the h*** are they thinking? Like are you kidding me?!! What in Epcot says Guardians of ...you know what no im not even going to stress about it. Hopefully it dies..

Apologies for this post where I come up with silly names for attraction overlays

Carousel of the Galaxy
Guardians of Progress
Groot's Great Escape
Drax's Space Ranger Spin
Hall of Guardians
Groot and Rocket's Jamboree
Guardians of the Caribbean
A Groot's Life
Starlord Tours
Guardians of the Galaxy of Energy
Journey into 70's music
Living with the Groot
The Space with Rocket and Friends
The Guardian Adventure
Starlord's Epic Stunt Spectacular
Drax's MetaphorlessMagic
It would make more sense to have a "Rocket's great escape". After all, he flaunts on escaping a ton of prisons. (and he escaped right after he was transformed into "Rocket" by the AI Machine on his planet.)

this was definitely already settled somewhere in the 174 pages of this thread but wasn't the deal "everything marvel-related thats east of the Mississippi goes to universal and everything west goes to disneyland?

As long as they keep it away from ToT or GMR, I'm somewhat happy..
I find anything at Epcot to be better as those buildings are largely enormous warehouses meant to receive updates every 10 years (not that they've stuck to that schedule) so if it's dreadful, we won't be stuck with it forever. Destroying ToT would have been something else entirely.

It has been addressed, more times than I can count. Feel free to peruse the thread at your leisure. If your posts are important enough to be read, so are those of the other posters.

It is based on the 'families' of characters currently in use in a 'non-incidental' manner, so Guardians are arguably outside of any of the existing families currently utilized at IoA. (FF, X, Avengers, Spider-Man, Hulk)

Honestly, until WDW gets some form of Marvel in its park, I don't think we will ever know for sure.

But I am like others, I cannot believe they have gotten as far as they have on plans, and not already confirmed what they can or cannot do.

Disney legal has already confirmed what they can and cannot do with Marvel. They are under no obligation to announce those abilities to us - they'll just use them when they decide to.
