Also, anybody remember Hi-C "Ecto Cooler?"

It's still alive and kicking...just under a different name. The new name of "Ecto Cooler" is "Orange Tangergreen" (Same ingredients...the only difference is the clear "non-stain" coloring).

ECTO COOLER!

Nectar of the Gods is more like it... :slurp:

I found out a month or so ago that my sister and her friends are too young to remember Ecto Cooler. I felt so old!

OMG!! They were sooo good, my favorite when I was little. There were so many ways to eat them--knock out the middle and eat it first, or last; or pull the cookie apart and lick off the frosting and then eat the cookie...

mmmmmm

thought I posted this earlier:

"Burger Chef and Jeff - We're hungry for fun, fun food!"

Burger Chef might not have had the greatest burgers, but their toys were the bomb!

The other thing you don't see much of these days - the candy cigarettes. Now THERE'S some fun for ya! How did the fake beer for tots not follow the lead?

I can't wait for Halloween - I'm going to munch down on a couple cartons of Pall Mall candy cigarettes . . .

Hardees(Carl Jrs. in some states) is carrying a sandwich they say is the classic Burger Chef sandwich with the old Chef hat logo

Wow- Burger Chef and the "Works" bar- what a mess it would be.
I didn't know it was as large of a chain as it seems to have been.

And Reggie Bars were the best. And Marathon Bars as well.

And I used to love (I still think it's made) the lik m aid candy where you dip the candy stick into the sugar powder.

And are there any Stuckey's, Wayfara, or Horne's restaurants around the interstates anymore?
