I think I just vomited a little. 2 months to lose 20 lbs. I don't have a prayer. <<<cry>>>

Oh I'm with you! I'm already despondent that I didn't lose any (probably gained) before next Monday which was my goal. Now thinking about losing by the cruise?
The cruise where our pictures could appear in multiple trip reports? Yikes!!
Lol

Speaking of TRs, I think I may take the girls cruise as my chance to go on one and NOT do a report. Then again, don't I always say that???? LOL!

I'm thinking the same thing! I'm STILL working on my TR from last fall and then have to write the one from May/June... Then there would be the cruise... THEN my cousins first trip in November! I'll be writing TR's until I'm 50!! Oye!!

I have yet to wrap-up my Fantasy report. I hear ya. Tracey keeps asking me about it. Jerry has called me several times telling me I need to finish. The girls have texted me asking if I'd finished. Nope. I don't know what's gotten into me. I don't even care. Is that bad???? LOL!

I need to scale back on the wine after last week. Wine makes me puffy. Ick.

If anyone is interested, myfitnesspal.com has a free calorie counter. You provide data and it spits out your recommended calories for the day. The database for food items is pretty extensive and I can count on one hand how many times I could not find an item in the two years I have been using it. You can also put your recipes in there and it will provide calories per serving. The mobile app has a scan, so you can scan a bar code for nutritional info, too.

You Tube is also a great source of free workouts.

Food and fitness are my passion. LOL

Jen, your recipe for the tropical couscous salad was da bomb! Loved it! I chunked-up some leftover chicken , tossed 'em in, and had a killer refreshing lunchtime meal. Gonna make another batch to keep in the fridge for lunches. Loved it! AND, got my yoga DVD. Gonna give it a shot today or tomorrow for the first time. I'm hoping the lower impact activity will help me strengthen my right knee again. The last week I've had a bit more pain going up and down the stupid steps. Grrrrr!

Ladies, this gal is awesome! Take advantage!

Me too girls. I am determined to loose 15-20. It was so much easier when hubby was across the pond for 8+ months. Some one message me daily Over it

LOL! I remember being jealous of you after you had the jaw surgery. That was Sean's first deployment, right? You had the double-whammy going on! Man, I could sooooo drop some serious poundage if I could only drink smoothies. Then again, maybe not because knowing me I'd be hitting the ice cream and whipped cream in the blender. I can't believe I'm even saying this but I've told Tracey a few times in recent years he needs to leave me so I'll stop eating again. When we went thru our rough patch we were both so thin! Dang! Do you remember??? No effort. Massive pounds fell of both of us. We need to rip each other's hearts out more often, I guess. ROFLMAO! That's so freakin' wrong!!!!! Obviously I'm kidding. LOL! I'd rather we were both happy butterballs together rather than go thru that hell again but still! To be that thin again! Yikes!

I've given up on loosing any weight. I've tried everything. I was once the fitness queen. Now have a hard time walking. Guess I should seriously consider that knee surgery. But I will do the run/ walk on castaway cay. One way or the other. Lol.

You can use my email to access me. Stephanielegendre11@yahoo.com. I stopped using it a while ago but it's always better with friends. Since I started using it I lost 15 lbs. just by accounting for what I ate. My problem is all stomach weight. Guess that goes with kids and stress.

Yep. Think of the effort as getting healthy vs. looking a certain way. KWIM? Feeling better and not letting my health go is the most important thing for me.

I injured my knee about 25 years ago. It never have me any problem while I was in the army. About 1-1/2 years ago I stepped out of my hubby's truck and BAM. Shooting pains through out my knee. Diagnosis: torn meniscus which happened along time ago. I was a avid runner and can't do that anymore. Walking hurts. Bending down is worse. I guess that will be my Christmas present to myself this year. Knee surgery. I've been trying to rehab it on my own but no such luck. Since then I have gained 30 lbs all in the middle. It's strange to have a small framed upper body. Since injured I have went up 6 pants sizes. No shirt sizes.

I am aiming for a wine-free week this week. But I really enjoy my glass of wine with dinner! Too bad that one glass turns into two...

Dang. I've got 3 years worth of using loseit.com under my belt--works the same way, including inputting recipes, and I have a lot of them in there because I like to cook. I would sure consider switching to be part of a group effort, but I wonder if there's a way to convert all my stuff...

I hear ya. I started with knee pain periodically in both knees when I was 17 or so. Tackle football with the boys will do that to ya. ;) Now I generally don't have much trouble unless I overdo some physical activity. All the up & down stairs and working around the rental house when we moved in the spring really did a job on my knees. I had to spend a few days just laying down to keep from having so much discomfort I couldn't sleep. My right knee still gives me very little slack. I was doing better but then last week I was walking up the stairs with Tracey behind me. He pinched my backside so I twisted around to slap him. Not good to twist your body around with your foot planted. Twisted on the knee. Now it's bugging me again. Grrrrrr!!!!!

I had a problem with a bulging disc early this spring, it came on while I was at WDW in March so it was ten days before I could get to the doctor, and then I had to wait an additional week for PT appointment to be available. The back pain caused me to limp and screwed up my gait so that now I have trouble with my left knee--can't put any weight on it, which has affected my usual exercise routine, although I'm working around it. It's not painful as long as I don't kneel directly on it, so I'm okay walking. I had taken up running last year and was beginning to enjoy it, I can imagine it must be difficult for you having to give it up. Hopefully the surgery will at least get rid of your pain.

My fish extender is finished. I can't wait for everyone to see how amazing it came out. I'm very proud of myself. Did almost all of it by hand and by myself.
My Fish Extender is on my agenda for next weekend if I don't have to work. I bought some iron on transfer paper so this week I'm working on using Kelley's logo on page 1 to make my own T-shirt. There were 6 sheets in the package so I'll have some extra iron-ons if anyone wants one.

And, is it to early to get the suitcase out? Lol
