Speaking of hair appliances, how's the plug situation? I have flatirons for US and UK plugs (I found that hair appliances don't respond well to power converters)--which one should I bring for the ship?

Also, (a) does it get chilly at sea in the evenings and (b) how's the a/c in the dining rooms--merely refrigerated, or meat locker cold (like my office!). I want to figure out what level of cardi to pack.

US plugs. There's not many sockets, tho. In fact, there's veeeery few. I'm bringing a power strip. :)

I've never been cold in the dining rooms. We keep our house pretty cold, tho. It got cooler at night in January but September stays pretty warm. If you normally tend to be cold in public then I'd say bring a cardi.

So can we bring a power strip? I had read somewhere else that they confiscated the power strips.

One Little Spark...
I've heard of some getting confiscated. I've had mine a few times and not had it confiscated. ((knock on wood))
Why would they do that? Sounds wonky...

I regretted not bringing a true strip with me this year (unlike previous years). There are not enough plugs in the stateroom desk for charging things! I ended up with items scattered around the stateroom, and still had instances (for the cameras) where I either charged off my laptop or swapped out chargers...if I'd had a strip, I could have kept everything neat and organized on the desk, which is what I'd much rather do!

Why do I feel like I'll be madly packing on Friday night? Just finished dinner after spending most of the day making my fish extender. It turned out pretty much as I saw it in my head, so I'm fairly proud of myself, but it was exhausting!!

I was going through my itinerary while eating, trying to come up with packing list--my goodness, didn't realize until now how much clothes I'll need--maybe I'll be joining @sweetpee_1993 in the laundry room! That lanyard itinerary sent by @Disneyfalcon is sooo helpful!

So, I have to add to my packing list a power strip--and maybe a reusable cup? What's the advantage of a reusable cup? I have my Little Mermaid plastic juice glass, it's cute but it's not at all practical. :D

Questions: what time are we gathering for our 8:10 dinner res on Saturday 7th, what time meeting for 7:30 Kona breakfast on Sunday 8th (they won't seat us until all are present, right?), and where are we getting picked up at 9:00 on Sunday?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, but I'm going to have so much work to do at work this week, I probably won't be here much.

Jess, @plaz10 , I know you're crazy busy but please put my mind at ease and let me know you got your DME tags that I mailed you...

Oh, and @Tiggerfanatic ,@Howe I might join you at the Tambu Lounge at 7 on Saturday...never had a Lapu Lapu. o_O

I'll be bringing my Tervis tumbler. @Tiggerish , the paper cups at the drink stations are small. They are like kiddie size, really. They only have the one size. We bring larger insulated tumblers with us so we don't have to go back so often or carry around two cups. Lazy? Yes. I can claim that one. ;)

LOL, Kelly, after this week, I will be delighted to be lazy alongside you.

And really, woman, you are the fountain of all information. I'll embroider that on a pillow for ya. But not this week. I'll have to mail it. ;) :D

I hear ya. Full week ahead for me, too. Tomorrow is a full day of getting my hair did. An hour drive each way plus about 4-5 hours of hair. Ugh! Dread it. Wednesday I've got to fix my Lilly top & work on upcycling one of my girls cruise tees. Thursday is hardcore packing. Friday I have to finish packing, make sure groceries are in the house, get my nails did, and we have an evening wedding to go to. Saturday...I escape!!!!

I bought one of those tumblers that looks like a plastic cup at the Board Walk. It is BoardWalk themed and it has a twisty straw inside that is reminiscent of the Keister Coaster slide. For my coffee, I am bringing an travel mug. I went to Costco this weekend to pick up a mega pack of Starbucks VIA and they didn't have it. Boo. *shakes fist in the air*

See, 4-5 hours of hair is why I'm just bringing my flatiron. ;) 20 minutes a day. I'm trusting that @joanna71985 will put up with me. :)

Oh, @Sans Souci , I am actually LOLing at the mental image of your shaking your fist in the air because there's no VIA. :D
