IT'S OFFICIAL - December Meet 12/4-12/5

Yeah!! This is my fear as well that this will be the one year when the off-season will be abnormally crowded. I couldn't believe that by noon Eastern time most of the rooms were gone.

Well I just got thru after another 37 min wait - no more $151 or $121 rooms available at the WL. AND I got thru at 9:15am yesterday morning. The only thing left today is the presidental suite at $815.00 per night - Anyone????-

CHERRY - I can't honestly believe they sold all their rooms, must have blocked off say 100 per resort and those who got thru got lucky. In any event - weeeeeee - I'm staying at a resort I've never been to before (CBR) and now am looking forward to something new!!

I assume Disney is dragging its rear getting back to ya. Let's hope the SSE lounge is not a measely 2-3 stories off the ground. If AT&T had any foresight, they would have built one near the top of that baby

When I booked the WL early August, all that was available were $250/night courtyard views. When I tried to apply the AP to my existing, I was shot down. Nothing under the Pres. Suite was available. I said forget it, I'm taking my 8 nights in the All-Stars. Less than 2 night's stay at rack in WL paid for my whole week + 1day at the All-Star Movies! I'm saving my money from here on out (the WL is nice but aside from the queen beds and the enclosed closet) for room accomodations, I can't justify the cost. Sure, it was nice and the boat to the MK and Contemp were great but if I can save over $100/night, I'm doing it from here on out. Who cares when you rent a car anyway (I found the walk to the room in WL to be further than any time I have ever stayed at the All-Stars)?

I booked in early June, same thing - courtyard view $250. The two nights I already paid for at WL have paid for 5 nights at CBR. I'm with you. The time of year we are going to too cold to enjoy the pools, etc. I'm there in December for the parks - I need a room to sleep and shower in, that's it. Other than that I'm in the parks from open til close and depending on the time have gone to DTD for dinner. I don't even rent a car. We use Tiffany Townecar to get to the airport and back. See you in December! :wave:

The main event will definately be on the 4th. I have just recieved information on numerous events that we can do. I have been going over the options to see what will be the most feasible for the Meet. I am going to be speaking to the special events person who is handling this for us on thursday and hopefully I will have more information at that time so that by this weekend we will have something to post as far as what to do and the price.
