Hurray for Epcot!! This is from my first trip in '97...apparently with a really crummy camera

Not a bad picture though!

the original JII (which closed SIX DAYS later!!). Just think about it...beginning only a short time after your camera captured these scenes, they were never seen again in person. As a rule I usually don't take pictures during rides, but it's photos like yours that make me wish I did once and a while...the ride could disappear forever before you know it, and it's nice to have something to remember it by.

You know I never thought about that.....here are the other ones from that ride.

Jerm, your pictures are fantastic!

I have some in-ride photos from Horizons and JII from 1996, but they all still need to be scanned (and I don't have a scanner anymore:(). Wish I could put them on here...

I, too, used my flash with my cheap 110 camera at the time. I was 15 and it was on my high school band trip...I remember asking the CM when loading on each attraction if it was okay before taking any (I wouldn't have taken any if they had said no...my mom raised us to be goody two-shoes), but now I realize I shouldn't have taken any at all...don't worry everyone, I don't use my flash anymore!

Nobody has a picture of the 15th birthday? Well here is a picture of my cousins and myself 20 years ago :D

This was taken in 1987...just wanted to clarify. I'm gonna assume it's the 15th anniversary of WDW going on.

I wish I had more of them. I am trying to track down some of my friends that were on the trip to see what they might have had.

I'm sure that's exactly what they were thinking of! Notice how even the spaces between the cake tiers suggest the row of windows in front of Horizons (the VIP lounge) that separates the floors. And hey, they got the color right. I guess Horizons kind of looks like it could be a futuristic cake.
