The New parade at MK will begin January 23rd. Minnie will now be on Mickey's float. Pinocchio and Jiminy will be together and Snow White and Dopey. The other dwarfs are going away. There will be 3 show stops for this parade. The characters will all stay on the floats and there will be 30 couples dancing on the street.

For the new celebration show/parade expect to see some different characters in that. Lumiere, Sebastian, Clopin, Mad Hatter etc. This will take place 3 times a day. This will be similar to Block Party Bash.

The Fairies meet n greet is no longer having the games during the meet n greet. The games were making the line very long.

Bolt has been going over very well at the Studios. The meet n greet has been drawing good crowds throughout the day.

Expect to see some of the characters from UP out in the summer.

I wouldn't expect to see WALL-E out in the parks any time soon if ever. There's issues with him being in the parks. Maybe at some point he will but don't expect it.

Do you know if they're planning on working Princess Aurora into the updated parade? I've just always found it odd that her villian and three fairies are in the parade but she isn't. Any other changes besides the ones you just mentioned. They better not take out Ariel!

Hm. Have to see about this one. If the format is similar to Block Party Bash, I think I'll be skipping this one. I prefer your usual, run of the mill parade where you can see all the characters for the same amount of time as opposed to these block parities where you see maybe 3-5 and then catch a glimpse of the others as they go racing by. I mean, BPB is okay, but not my cup of tea overall. :shrug:

I prefer your usual, run of the mill parade where you can see all the characters for the same amount of time as opposed to these block parities where you see maybe 3-5 and then catch a glimpse of the others as they go racing by. I'm just the opposite. I got stuck watching the Disney Dreams Come True Parade on Friday when they started it 15 minutes earlier than scheduled, and I couldn't believe how lifeless it was. I don't understand how anyone could prefer the boring choreography, lame music/lip syncing dialogue, and underwhelming floats to the high energy numbers, interesting floats, and crowd participation that BPB provides.

Sorry. :lol: Don't get me wrong, its not that I found BPB to be boring, and I agree DDCT is not the best of parades (I don't stop to watch it either), but BPB takes gatting used to. I don't hate it, but it just didn't suit me. :shrug:

I would rather them throw all the princesses and their princes onto the castle float, and get rid of the princess float. It should have been retired in 04.

Why? That princess float only started in OCT 2001.

While we're at it , any news on the Castle show/DAWM and the grand marshall parade?

Errr...stuff happend with the Princess float in 2004. Bad stuff.

While I agree that bringing it back might not have been the most fantastic idea of all, I'd be really happy to see the castle float drive off into the sunset.

the return of the Diamond Horseshoe Jamboree;
some stage show throughout the year in T-Land;
truly new inventive day and night parades;
more non-foamhead (real entertainers) performances;
