Another press release, with another great video! defiantly a good watch. Its really unfortunate that the new dragon isnt going to make it in time for tomorrow but theres still a lot of great additions this summer! I wish the video showed some stuff from Pixie Hollow and Tomorrowland Terrace...

^Welcome :D but just wait till tomorrow or Sat when all the videos/reports start coming in.

Maybe next year WDW can have Nightastic?
So DHS can have all the Fantasmic! enhancements like DL had gotten in the past few years like, a new lighting package, new LED lights for the Princess barges, new HD projections and images, new dragon, and new finale? Then also pull out the Pocahontas scene in favor of Peter Pan.

Then at MK well boot Wishes! and replace it with Magical and figure out some way that MK can also have the really awesome Tink/Dumbo wire. Oh then boot Spectro in favor of a new parade like Dreamlights. and finally install parade lighting.....

all while DLR starts celebrating its 55th with Worlds of Wonder(rumored 55th parade), and World of Color

I can dream right?:wave::D


Oh yea nothing to do with what happened to the Dragon but ROA is suppose to be going down for another refurb in the winter/early sping of 2010

I agree about the 13th haha everyone better have there videos up!:lol:

but if we start Magical next year by the 40th we can kick Magical out and get a show like Remember? :shrug::lol::sohappy: that would be awesome! I would love to see another version of Remember.:eek:

I WOULD LOVE to see a Remember version for MK. SHeeesh. With all the retro and original attractions we had....:king:

Some good news for firework shows at DL. This is what a recent D23 article said:

And while the show will only run though August 23, Disneyland's Director of Entertainment, Doug McIntyre, says it may return in 2010. "There's a chance it will come back as our summer offering," Doug revealed. "It will go back to Remember… Dreams Come True after the summer. We're looking at some yet-to-be-announced possibilities for Halloween. Then we'll have our Christmas show, and then back to Remember. And Magical could possibly become a summer offering."

So if this is true, we could have 4 different shows for different times of the year (Remember, Magical, Believe in Holiday Magic, and a new Halloween show.)

and some news about the dragon:

One thing guests didn't see was the new Maleficent dragon, who wasn't quite ready for her close up. "As one of the very few people who have seen the dragon in its functioning mode, I'm thrilled by the dragon," Doug noted. "In our test-and-adjust period, we had a situation where we had a mechanical issue we knew we had to fix and we knew we weren't going to be ready. So we're working on that and will get it into the show as soon as we can." And Doug says, when she makes her debut, guests won't believe their eyes. "I think is going to be one of the most spectacular additions to a Disney show that's ever been done. It's certainly the largest Disney character that's ever been created in animated mode. And it's a huge leap from what the dragon used to be. This is full, three-dimensional, fully articulated, 45-foot-tall, 32-foot wingspan, with 18 axis of motion, it takes five computers to run the thing — it's what you'd expect from Disney with all of the technology we have at our hands!"

First: 4 FREE firework shows a year is amazing. In WDW you have to pay to see the extras. That's AWESOME, and that's how a Disney Park should be run.:D:sohappy:

Second: The Dragon sounds incredible. She's gonna be awesome. Can't wait to see her.

If true about a Halloween fireworks show, Id be so happy it would be a great addition to HalloweenTime. Maybe they can add another character to the wire. But really can you imagine thats pretty much a great line up of seasonal firework shows! I know if I lived closer I'd be back a whole lot just to see them over and over!

I have to say the lights are so bright!!! lol and Flotasm and Jetsam look amazing on the water much better than I thought they would. Hopefully well get better video so we can see the projections better. Heres hopeing that dragon gets fixed soon.

After seeing the Pixie Hollow video, it's just another example of why TDO should be ashamed they put Tink in Toontown and not the highly themed plans that involved the old skyway station.
