Disney to buy Marvel Entertainment

It'll actually be for something that already works well in a Disney Park.

Save for DL...:lookaroun

Nope, works perfectly in DL. Just as Indy does.

And once a Marvel ride opens in a Disney park(which of course won't be a WDW one), you guys will see. And you'll be begging for it to come here.

your getting dangerously close to crossing the line here...
You crossed it a while ago.

I have already said that I do NOT think that it does not work in DL, or any MK park. Those should only be for Disney. DL actually fails in that respect, for me.

I DOUBT I wil. I have no desire to mix two perfectly sound genres together, when they aught to be separate based on how different they are.

Opinion is a fun thing, no? Wanna do this all night?

Note: I don't WANT Marvel in MK. I said it could work in other parks. But I want it in DHS, and I have not seen any credible argument against it.

Update from leemac:

Very interesting! Love to hear that!:sohappy: Thanks!
Eh. I don't feel a bit happy reading that post. If Disney tries to strong-arm Uni into removing one of the best theme park rides anywhere just so they can "replace" it with a Spider-Man M&G on NY Street or whatever it is now, I'm going to lose a ton of respect for them.

It's been eons since Disney came out with a ride concept that's comparable to Spider-Man at Uni. I have zero confidence that anything they use the character for at this point would top the ride that already exists.

I don't think Disney will strongarm them out. From what I got about his post Uni is Uni is looking to end it themselves.

Heh. I'll hold my fire until we get a clear idea where this is heading, but I'll just say that's no defense at all in my eyes. If (and it's a big IF now) Disney's idea of "competing" with Universal is taking away guests' choices by forcing them to remove hit rides, then it would be beyond low to me. You compete by making yourself better, not by making the people around you worse.

I'll leave it at that for now.

I would completely agree with that statement. If Uni pulls out on it's own so be it, but I'd rather not have the other situation happen.

The Indiana Jones Adventure is a perfect Adventureland attraction. It is a perfect complement to the Jungle Cruise. I would absolutely hate for it to be built anywhere but Adventureland were it to come to Walt Disney World. Have you been out to Disneyland, Dubbz?

I thought you might. :D

Wouldn't it be wonderful to cruise past the Temple of the Forbidden Eye every few minutes?

Ugh...don't tell me that. I live in denial believing it's impossible.

Either that or I'm planning how I'll get it done when I make it high enough in the company.
