I too went inadvertantly on Gay Days in MK, apparently the final day too. I saw a lot of kissing- a lot of dry humping in line- and a gay website being advertised on a shirt....

It was quite an odd day.

Yeah, I got stuck at Disney when I was 12 on gay day. I noticed everyone was wearing red shirts...

yeah my mom was wearing a red shirt and had no clue that was 'the thing' but apparently MK was going to let anyone who wore a red shirt borrow a different shirt for the day.

I know people have different views on when/where to breastfeed their babies (whether it's ok to do it on public or not), but one day i saw a mother breast feeding her baby in the corner of a giftshop but was not using a cover...ok well, that's always interesting to see i guess lol, but what caused many people to stop was a little boy called her over to look at something and she handed the baby off to her husband and walked over with her still hanging out...like for a good 3 mins. I've never seen so many open mouths in my life  hahahahaha..of course a cm asked her kindly to cover back up but she didn't speak english so it was pretty awkward from what i saw lol

I saw some lady pick up her kids and put them over the rail leading to the boat from the MK. I was in line after Wishes and she picked them up one by one and put them over the rail leading to the boat. I went crazy on her. Finall a cat member saw her and made her go to the back of the line. Good for her!!!

My other favorite thing is people who fill up random things at the drink stations in the resorts (like water bottles, empty pop bottles, I saw a huge Big Gulp cup once.). They should pay me to go crazy on them because I feel it is just the same as shoplifting and I would prosecute them.

We also went to MK during Gay Days but not aware of the event or the color coding, and my husband wore a red shirt. He stuck close to me THAT day - and received plenty of looks - but our preteen girls were quite confused about all they saw that day!

Saw Penn or Teller (whoever is the taller one) talking to some guests and posing for pics by entrance of Tomorrowland. Pretty awesome.

It's horrible to see a child or anyone being abused and I agree 911 probably should have been contacted.
Well we had an incident this past April when visiting. It was one of those moments where I was like "Did that just happen in WDW?" My Husband, our 20 month old daughter and myself went into the MK about 1 1/2 hrs before spectromagic. We bought her a balloon, clear with a colored Mickey head in it. We found a place to watch the Parade from and I stayed with our daughter while my husband got some food. By the time he got back there was a very unhappy family just crowding my daughter's stroller, not caring that they are going to be in the direct view of her seeing the parade. We had tied her balloon snuggly to the back of her stroller and my husband kind of had it tucked between him and the strolller so it wouldn't bother anyone. Well, the wind picked up and the balloon waved a little in the air and out of the corner of my eye I see a very miserable woman beating the ever living you know what out of the balloon, trying to pop it! I said "Excuse me could you please not do that, I'll get it out of your way!" She said "Get that Fn balloon away from me or I'll Fn pop it!" My blood boiled! I told her not to stand there, move, and she proceeded to tell me she was waiting there for over 2 hours for the parade. Such a complete load of BS as we were in that spot first. She then took a pen out of her purse and actually tried to pop my baby's balloon! I couldn't believe it! My husband grabbed it and calmly told her to give us the $10.00 for the balloon and she could have her hissy fit on it and pop away. She raised her voice clenched her fists and screamed "GET THAT FN BALLOON AWAY FROM ME!!!!!!! (it wasn't near her at this point) I couldn't believe it, there were children, not to mention my own watching this over heated woman absolutely loosing it. I almost got security but there were enough people around that we all got her to relocate! It was terrible! This was our first trip with our baby and it nearly broke my heart! Needless to say we saw the parade, our baby loved it and the balloon stayed intact!

I always say, Most of the ill-mannered, cranky, tired people at Disney are the ADULTS!!!!!

We were at TTA in MK last March and a fellow had a horrible seizure on the escalator going up. He was immediately in front of us and our children could not figure out what he was doing...it took a second for my husband and I to realize he needed medical attention but we were able to get a CM over and stepped back. It was really scary but when the seizure was over his family members took the time out to thank our kids for getting assistance and reassure them he was going to be fine.

Brilliant! I love Penn and Teller: BS. I'm sure they might do an episode on SGE in the future .

Ok, so I just spent nearly all afternoon reading this entire thread... minus the OT debating... and I wanted to share a story from when I was a CM in Fantasyland.

I was in Attractions, and one of our positions was Greeter at Ariel's Grotto. The Grotto isn't like the other attractions, where guests were allowed to get in line right up until closing time, because the entertainment CM's have to leave at a certain time, which for Ariel was usually 7pm. So the CM working with Ariel would usually come out beforhand and talk to the Greeter, and tell us when to close up, so all the guests would be done and out by 7. Depending on how long the line was, could be anywhere from 6:30- 6:45.

So on this one night, the entertainment person told me when to stop letting people in, and at that time, I put the chain up and began telling people that it was closed for the night, etc. After a few minutes, it sort of got quiet back there. I basically was just letting out the groups that had just seen Ariel.

This man approached me from inside, with a kid probably around 4 years old. He said that he knew it was closing, but his son REALLY needed the bathroom, and asked me if he could take him and then get back in line, with his wife who was still waiting. I told him of course, and pointed him to the restrooms that were right next door. A few mintues later, they came back, and thanked me as I let him back in. As I was putting up the chain behind them, a large family walked up, and the father said, "Well... How do we get in?" I told him, Sorry, but we're closed for the night... etc. He got aggitated and said, "But I just watched you let that white guy in!"

At this point I was a bit stunned... like, what? White guy? So I explained to him that he had already been in line for awhile, and that I just let him out to so his son could use the restroom... but he wasn't hearing it. He started absolutely ranting and yelling at me that I was being racist, and yelling to everyone in the area that "this white girl will let the white people in, but she wont' let us in because we're black!" I was complete mortified, and VERY angry that I would be accused of that for just doing my job. I kept trying to reason with him, but it didn't help, so I just ignored him and tried to answer some questions of other guests.

After a couple minutes, the guy stopped yelling, but he and his family moved over to the side a bit, loudly talking about me, and all kind of staring at me, like they were just waiting for me to let another "white person" in. At 7, when the line had finished and everyone was out of the grotto, I gave them my biggest "Disney smile" as I left, and told them I hoped they enjoyed the rest of the night. There wasn't much more I could do. I don't know if they heard the sarcasm in my voice...

I wish I could have at least called a manager when he was screaming, but one baaaad thing about that positon was that there was no phone easily accessible. We were supposed to use the one in Scuttle's Landing if we needed to, but that meant leaving the entrance completely open, and I thought if I did, that group, or even others might sneak in, and get me in trouble with the Entertainment people. :brick:

Even though that happened years ago, I still remember it, and it still makes me SO angry. It was really insulting to me to be called a racist like that. And over me not letting people in to see a princess!

I have rarely taken notice of anything horrific going on while in the world but I do have one story from my last trip. My fiance and I were sitting on a bench in WS one night, we were enjoying a beer and a turkey leg. She took a picture of me while I was in mid bite on the turkey leg. It came out hysterical and we were cracking up. A man walking past with his, I have to assume daughter, who he was yelling at for one thing or another. I mean he was really laying into her, heard us laughing and decided we had to be laughing at him. So as he was walking away from us he turned around, and while still back pedaling started yelling at us and challenging me to a fight. Well, needless to say we were very confused, and his misguided anger just cracked us up even more. That just encouraged him, and he yelled some nonsense about putting me in my place, although his language was less then kid friendly, and continued on his merry way yelling at his daughter. In a different place I may have been less patient with a person like that, but in Disney who is really looking for a fight? Besides he provided us with a very funny memory.

That was me.

I can't believe I just read every page of this thread. These are incredible stories, though horrifying, they are the reason I go back every year. God I love WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
