Are you 23?

This special program will only be offered to DVC members, whom the Disney Co. consider to be the true Disney fans that respect and continue to live the Company's history and unrelenting message of family entertainment.

Rereading it, I'm kind of offended by this statement.

Just because I'm not a DVC member I'm not a "true Disney fan that respects and continues to live the Company's history and unrelenting message of family entertainment"? I thought it just meant I didn't quite have enough money to own a timeshare

If this is really what this 23 thing is all about, I'm suddenly VERY against it. What happened to all guests being equal? I mean, perks for the DVC members are nice and warranted since they shell out so much, but I think there's a fine line to between perks and creating second-class citizens (non-DVCers) that Disney would be crossing by implementing this.

I really, truly hope this isn't the case. Talk about exclusion.

A good way to see if the 23 promotion is indeed tied to DVC would be to check the DVC website in the following weeks... I would expect to see a special teaser link to disney.com/23 pop up on the DVC websites, since the 23 webpage is now "active," with the countdown clock. We have a poster on a Burbank lot linking to a webpage (which would be a strange place to advertise a DVC promotion, I think), and that's about it. Wherever the next link to the webpage pops up—like on the DVC website—might hint towards the intended scope, scale, and target audience of the 23 promotion...

Oh man, Tink! This makes a DVC membership even more appealing...

You know, Michael Jordan's number was 23, and that number always did him well! ;)

Yes! Maybe you should think about this great investment for you and your family. Then you can take part in all of the special things only offered to DVC Members.

The 23rd of September is my cousin's birthday...

...or you could also live 90 miles away and not see any reason in the universe to pay tens of thousands of dollars for a timeshare an hour away from your house.

But yeah, if it's some DVC exclusive, that would blow monkey chunks.

He does? How did I manage to go to Celebration High School, have multiple friends who lived in Celebration, and spent a great deal of time in Celebration and not know this?

It probably has to do a lot with the fact that Michael Jordan lives in Highland Park, Illinois...:lookaroun
