Would the budget allow for a Carousel (in appearance only) with a platform that breaks away into dedicated ride vehicles as they move toward screenz similar to Rat or MMRR? Cause that'd be a nice departure from a basic spinner.
In other words, Joe Rohde's original concept?

It was a sequel.

Everything in the art points to MPR.

Here's Jack and MP from MPR with a balloon...

The Mary in the poster is from MPR. The kite is the patched up kite from MPR....

Seeing the guy hanging on the lamppost reminded me of my last trip. I watched two very drunk girls hang on this lamp for pictures. It was so close to them either falling onto the trashcan or into the water. It wasn't even during a festival either.

Well whatever it is, is creepy. Of course Disney is going with the “sequel” money grab over the original classic which everyone loves.

OK A question here, maybe i just missed it, is the 17 Cherry Tree Lane part going to be part of the existing structures at the UK Pavilion in the back across the way from the Pavilion stage where British Revolution plays now or a new section to be added on or some combination of the two? Marie

This should give you a good idea about what is new and what is existing. In that concept, the only thing that is truly "new" are the three building facads for the Cherry Tree lane homes. Everything else is already there. You can also see that once they add those three building facades, there isn't much room behind them without impeding on access roads around the World Showplace.

Thanks so much for doing that - very clear and easy to understand now....although now I'm especially convinced it's either going to be a carousel or even some kind of little sing-a-long show.

I wonder if the cherry trees will be real, and therefore bloom once, or be designed to be in a constant bloom!!

I do love blossoming cherry trees. My property is lined in them.

If we’re really getting an indoor carousel with screens to replicate the journey into the cartoon world I’m on board. It sounds fun.

I do think it’s really weird they didn’t elaborate at all. It makes me think they’re still debating exactly what they’re going to do with it.
I'm pretty certain they didn't announce it was a walk through attraction because they didn't want to hear the backlash about it today. Also, nobody would hype a Mary Poppins walk through attraction to their friends (at least with Moana, Moana is a new and very relevant Disney princess while Mary, who is indeed an icon and beloved by most Disney fans, is not necessarily as loved in 2019 as Moana is) so they want to give everybody time to hype a "Mary Poppins attraction" that people will assume is a ride only to announce down the line that it's a walk through and when they do, everybody will groan.

Huh.

Where were they going to put the Brave dark ride if they’d made that instead then? There’s not a ton of space here.

They could still put a cool indoor spinner in this space, though I fear for its guests per hour.
