Is this stage in the competition always this boring? I'm having trouble remembering if it is always like this or if this season is just the worst of the show. Danny and Rounds are seem like the only two who have a chance to win the thing.

I think the reason it's so boring is because people aren't picking the right songs (that's number 1 right there) and two they have more artists vying for the top spots. There are 36 vs the usual 24...That's 12 more that have the prospect of being mediocre. I don't like this way of doing it, and hope they change it again next year. I hate being forced to pick one girl, one guy and one other. I wish we could just pick the 3 best singers...I hate how they have to make it even.

Forced to choose, Scott, Lil and Ju'Not, but a lot from this show should be considered for next week.

Is it weird how the judges are having a hard time with this year's format? They keep talking "you should be here next week" when they're trying to say they should win this week so they won't have to be here next week... Whether they don't understand their own format or are already talking as though we're in the "hope you get through to next week" phase which comes later, I don't know, but it seems disjointed...

I didn't use to like him but he has toned down that over the top attitude..he has a really good voice.

I wonder how the wild card thing will work? This is what msn.com says about it...

Nine of the 12 spots will have been determined after Wednesday night's results show, with the remaining three finalists to be chosen by the judges Thursday night during a special wild card round. "Idol" nation, take note; the producers have structured things this season such that the judges will be able to call back anyone -- even those who did not make the top 36 -- for the wild card round. Could this mean that Jamar Rogers is still in the mix? Let's hope so.

So I guess the judges just pick who they want and that's it... surely they will have to sing again to prove they are worthy of the top 12...:shrug:

Interesting! I'll be sure to tune in for that one. Though, I am really anxious to "get the show on the road." Like others have commented, I haven't been a big fan for the way they've handled the last few weeks...

I do, but I can't figure out why. Maybe it's those weird facial expressions when he is singing.

this show is so fake! I went to the auditions over the summer , and before anyone even tries out for randy paula or simon they have to go through a whole process of auditioning for producers, and if you make it past them you then have to go to another producer who deciedes if you have an intersting enough "life story" to be put through to potientally be on the show. I was told that I " was very talented and had an amazing voice, but wasnt right for what they were looking for this season",Yet the person next to me dressed in a lime green suit who sang awfully clearly there as a joke got put through to the next round.These producers turned away unbelievable singers, singers far more talented than anyone who is on the show right now. Basically it should not be called an open talent competion it is a money making scam.:fork:

I can't sing anyway so... I guess for me it's a moot point :lol:

And they brought Tatiana back... I hope she can dial back the drama. :brick: It completely overshadows her talent.

I'm not that crazy about him either. But maybe he will grow on me. There always seems to be one or two that I start out disliking, then end up liking as the show advances.
