My DVR cut out right after the Tatiana spectacle...so I didn't know about the "twist"...

I think all of us with DVRs got screwed last night. :lol: I did find out by watching the news last night, but I felt gyped. :lol:
So, last night I was just watching Idol, watching Ricky Braddy sing and the screen goes to his family and friend and I looked at the screen and was like, wait a minute...went back on the DVR, sure enough, the girl on the right was a girl I graduated high school with. This is now the second Idol contestant she's known, as Melinda Doolittle actually sang back up to her on a cruise ship. She's actually one who I've always thought had a good shot to make it onto Idol...but I've never seen her...at least now in the singing capacity. I just thought it was really cool to see someone I know on National TV!

Everybody's DVRs cut out. I make it a habit of recording the show immediately after Idol in order to actually get the ending. They have been notoriously horrible at working within network time constraints since Season 1. Canadian Idol has never gone over, because the networks here would just cut to what is in the schedule. :king:

I don't know who has more personalities, Norman or Tatiana. :lol: I'm glad she wasn't a wild card pick though. I'm happy with the other picks though!

I swear though...I know why the judges didn't put Tatiana through...even though she has talent.
1. she sang the same song at least twice...not sure about more and didn't change it up at all...just gave the same performance of it.
2. She would not shut up last night. She just kept on talking and talking, not letting the judges really get in a word edgewise. That, I think was her biggest reason for being not chosen (well, that and the fact that she's bat p o o p crazy).
The judges want to be heard (they have egos too you know) and don't like to be interupted every 5 seconds with her doing something stupid. I really think that's a good portion of what killed her chances last night. They obviously saw something in her, enough to bring her back...so they knew she could sing. But the fact that she couldn't shut up and thought she was the most amazing singer ever is what really killed her.

I thought I read somewhere that Adam Lambert did. But I could be wrong...
So on the idol website it says they will be doing songs of Michael Jackson tonight...so I wonder if that means he will be on the results show on Wednesday..:shrug:
Also I was reading People magazine and it said that the top 13 will go down to 11 this week...
