All EPCOT Center, All the Time- Part II

The Walt Disney Company has no love for the Walt Disney World Resort. After 35 + years of operating the world's greatest vacation destination, they have apparently grown tired of it and no longer feel compelled to make it better. Its sole purpose now is to squeeze out as much money as possible from what is already here.

True story and it's sad.. Magic Kingdom is the most visited theme park in the world.. don't you think they would put a majority of their money to get more and more people going?

They don't because they don't need to. MK hasn't gotten an E-Ticket since Splash Mountain in 1992 and yet it is still the most visited theme park in the world, even though most of it is the same as it has always been. The last few additions to the park have just been some refurbishments (HoP, HM, Pirates) with changes and new overlays for existing attractions (Buzz, SGE). MILF is actually one of the few "new" attractions because they actually did change from a circlevision theater to a sit down interactive show.

I just really hope this rumored Fantasyland expansion is true and happens soon because MK really does need something new and a new E-Ticket Mermaid dark ride would do just the trick.

And look how that turned out. Very crummy.

Dare I say it? Demolish Imagination!!! This pavillion is trash and seems like you couldn't get anywhere without gutting the place already. I say make a brand new fun, imaginative architectually amazing structure that holds a new Figment ride in side that totally seperates itself with the ride it is now. A roller coaster, a simulator, a water ride, whatever just not that garbage.

Ummmm, Glass Pyramids aren't imaginative enough for you? And the ride system should stay as it is. It was great before, it can be great again.

:lookaroun:lol:
I think the building and the facility is perfect. All it needs is a great ride for it. After the refurb, I could see it being on of EPCOT's major draws.

I really don't find Figment funny and some scenes in that ride are very odd. The NEW generation that will be buying tickets to Epcot in the very near future would rather see something else. I'm part of that generation, and I know people my age (18) don't like Epcot at all. They like DHS the most from what I hear from all around. It is always ToT or RRC.

Not really. With amazing buildings you see today, JII pavillion lacks in uniqueness. With the technology these days, that area could be astonishing, but instead it is like the dollar store on the bad side of town that sells junk.

That's the whole point of Journey Into Imagination, moreso the original, to be surreal. Like so many things, you can't seem to get that through your head.

That's just the teenage demographic you're talking about there, not gonna stop others from going to Epcot. Besides, I'm 19 and I love Epcot.

Imagination's a fine enough facility as is, it just needs that overhaul that keeps getting pushed back that'll make everything right again.

Also, message for you from Freakazoid

Ummm....:zipit:

Yeah, I'm 18.:wave: I know I'm one of the odd men out in the fact that I remember most of the old pavilions and feel for EPCOT, but it's not always true. A mature person my age can experience and enjoy EPCOT...if EPCOT were presented the right way.

Maybe it would finally kick Nemo off of the guidemap cover...:dazzle:
I am so sick of the damn fish.:fork::lol: Put SSE on the cover PLEASE! It's newest....

Well don't feel like you have to stop by too often. You and the "new generation" can feel free to leave boring old EPCOT to the adults.
