A Terror-rific Spirited 13th (ToT fans have lots to fear)...

Spirit admits his style is not for everyone and, in and of itself, is rippable. The sudden need arises from the news that Hong Kong is getting a bigger castle, which, when presented previously as a rumor by Spirit's nemesis, caused him to rip into said nemesis for being totally wrong. This has led to a lot of backpedaling on the part of Spirit with no clear apology since the blood between the two is so bad.

So, while Spirit's detractors hardly needed any excuse for piling on, this episode is making some of Spirit's supporters who have tolerated Spirit's tone in a Faustian bargain for insider info to reconsider their support of him as they see him go too far into trashing someone who was right (albeit, infrequently) while, at the same time, failing to keep up his end of the bargain with correct info.
Like I said, I don't know him personally. Do I dig his snark? Absolutely. Is it for everyone? Nope.

I'm not defending his posting style, and in all honesty, sometimes I say "ouch". Obviously I'm new around here in comparison to a lot of people. But when you see someone like Andre who joined in 2003, and has 200+ post since, suddenly show up on every thread slamming the guy? Come on. Don't even get me started on v-neck sweaters.

Two Threads is every thread now? And I have 500+ posts...you may want to check your numbers

And I'd hardly say I "slammed" him, but "snarky" certainly isn't the only adjective I'd use
I stand corrected. You just post on two threads (with absolutely nothing in common)

Edit- sorry, posting from phone, miscalculated your posts - my bad, got it confused with "likes"

Yup, just caught it. Will be interesting to watch how far this one will go... certainly an academy award for that song.

It could even be heading to Frozen type numbers based on how it has been received.

What an interesting time we live in where a very well received Pixar movie is probably 5th in line for an oscar to two Disney films, a Laika and the Little Prince.

Is it really that crappy? I thought the general consensus was that the ride itself was a pretty good dark ride (probably the best they've managed in the US in many, many years) but that people didn't like the location and the placement. From the videos, it certainly looks a lot better than Voyage of the Little Mermaid and I honestly kind of like the idea of a boat ride for a story like this set amongst ice and snow in Scandinavia.

If they solve the capacity issue, I really don't see why it would be such a tragedy for it to be cloned to HKDL. It's not like cloning was anathema in Disney parks up until about a decade ago. They've done it ever since they had more than one park!

lol its a dark ride from the 80s with new scenes......

Andre is in all likelihood one of Celebration Place's 'Social Media Analysts' whose job it is to shape the narrative in Disney's favor on social media platforms like this one Usually a few 'Tell your boss in Celebration Place that you failed miserably' will drive them off if they are indeed a 'Social Media Analyst' because once their cover is blown they will switch to a new account,

Some of them are simply pixie dusters who don't post much, Those guys I can respect agree with no but respect yes, I have a real problem with corporate operatives trying to shape public perception by stealth.

I don't think there's too many stealth UNI folks out there. They are pretty up front about it. And most of their biggest supporters were huge WDW fans to begin with. They just jumped ship when WDW's investment in new attractions slowed and UNI's went through the roof. Heck, look at @Disneyhead'71's username.

On the other side of the coin, it does get annoying when anytime anyone expresses a positive stance on something WDW they are immediately marked as a CM or Celebration Place cubicle dweller. There's no doubt those exist, but it's not every single glass-full fan.

Now that WDW is back throwing money around again I'm hopeful for the future, but as the prices continue to rise my glasses get a little less rosey.
