Big mistake, but I'm sure all here know that.Tim Delaney, who, like all of the main show producers for Disneyland Paris, is no longer with Walt Disney Imagineering.

Like I said, I don't know him personally. Do I dig his snark? Absolutely. Is it for everyone? Nope.Spirit admits his style is not for everyone and, in and of itself, is rippable. The sudden need arises from the news that Hong Kong is getting a bigger castle, which, when presented previously as a rumor by Spirit's nemesis, caused him to rip into said nemesis for being totally wrong. This has led to a lot of backpedaling on the part of Spirit with no clear apology since the blood between the two is so bad.
So, while Spirit's detractors hardly needed any excuse for piling on, this episode is making some of Spirit's supporters who have tolerated Spirit's tone in a Faustian bargain for insider info to reconsider their support of him as they see him go too far into trashing someone who was right (albeit, infrequently) while, at the same time, failing to keep up his end of the bargain with correct info.
But when you see someone like Andre who joined in 2003, and has 200+ post since, suddenly show up on every thread slamming the guy? Come on.
I stand corrected. You just post on two threads (with absolutely nothing in common)Two Threads is every thread now? And I have 500+ posts...you may want to check your numbers
And I'd hardly say I "slammed" him, but "snarky" certainly isn't the only adjective I'd use
Moana is
Ok, invest the time, do the research and keep up man. You know this is an obsession and you seem to be losing it so either commit or cut bait. Time to decide if you are a big dog in a little kennel or not.
Very unfortunate.Tim Delaney, who, like all of the main show producers for Disneyland Paris, is no longer with Walt Disney Imagineering.
Is it really that crappy? I thought the general consensus was that the ride itself was a pretty good dark ride (probably the best they've managed in the US in many, many years) but that people didn't like the location and the placement. From the videos, it certainly looks a lot better than Voyage of the Little Mermaid and I honestly kind of like the idea of a boat ride for a story like this set amongst ice and snow in Scandinavia.
If they solve the capacity issue, I really don't see why it would be such a tragedy for it to be cloned to HKDL. It's not like cloning was anathema in Disney parks up until about a decade ago. They've done it ever since they had more than one park!

I'm not defending his posting style, and in all honesty, sometimes I say "ouch". Obviously I'm new around here in comparison to a lot of people. But when you see someone like Andre who joined in 2003, and has 200+ post since, suddenly show up on every thread slamming the guy? Come on. Don't even get me started on v-neck sweaters.
thats what i was thinking as wellAndre is in all likelihood one of Celebration Place's 'Social Media Analysts' whose job it is to shape the narrative in Disney's favor on social media platforms like this one Usually a few 'Tell your boss in Celebration Place that you failed miserably' will drive them off if they are indeed a 'Social Media Analyst' because once their cover is blown they will switch to a new account,
Some of them are simply pixie dusters who don't post much, Those guys I can respect agree with no but respect yes, I have a real problem with corporate operatives trying to shape public perception by stealth.

Examples? You mean like the stealth Universal types around here who are becoming more extreme as the mouse turns up the heat?
But I enjoyed Oliver & CompanyOliver & Company is on right now on Disney Junior.
I'm about to change the channel.
Wow, is this terrible!!!! Sword & the Stone bad.... $700 non air conditioned tent bad.... Cockerell Fries bad... Soarin CGI bad... Unnecessary Security Theater bad....
Makes you appreciate Little Mermaid all the more....

Two words: Billy Joel.Oliver & Company isn't on the level of what Disney would do a year or two later, but when you compare it to non-Disney animated films that came later in the 80s & 90s, it holds up pretty well.
At least it's not Black Cauldron bad...Oliver & Company is on right now on Disney Junior.
