Moana is fantastic. The music, the visuals, the story. The little winks at the princess tropes. Fun Easter Eggs. There is, in fact, a double wink at the very end of the credits.

Moana, Lilo and Stitch, Lava, Hawaiian resort, Polynesian Resort, Tiki Room... Disney's trying to corner the market on Polynesian / South Pacific pop culture.
double wink?
does it have an extra scene as well? or just we need to have our eyes peeled by the ending of the main credits??

No, it's literally being built on top of the existing castle. The current castle forms the base - if you look at the concept art, you can see what will remain of the original SBC.
I'm getting confused, thats exactly what I imagined, the new one on top. But others said it will be extended.
The plans shows that the main castle will remain there but something else built BEHIND it.

I haven't looked at the plans close enough to see if the back of the castle will extend further out; it very well may with new pieces added to to the base. But the concept art clearly shows the bulk of the structure sitting on top of the current one.

In addition to the extra scene, in the credits itself is an Easter Egg, which when you see it will be obvious, it's not in the small print, but you can be lulled into missing it.

HKDL already has an LPS dark ride... A flume a notch above IASW in the thrill category is a great fit for the park. I'd be surprised if the layout is a clone of the Epcot ride. At the very least it should have a better queue with more elbow room and higher capacity. The Sleigh ride seems to capture the LPS tech in a different way from Mystic Manor. From the description, it sounds like a more like an indoor Aquatopia at TDS than Luigi's at DCA.
I don't agree with you on FEA, but HKDL could use a flume ride.

The new castle is emblematic of the Iger era.

Walt's bashful little castle being <censored> from behind by a giant confusedly themed executive ego-massaging monstrosity.
Maybe, but the original one was emblematic of his predecessor's desire to build budget Disney theme parks around the world.

I remember at the time people were quite critical of the fact Disney simply cloned Sleeping Beauty Castle from Disneyland.

When you look at this closely and can see Sleeping Beauty Castle sitting there piggy-backing a behemoth, the whole premise becomes grotesque.

Be happy with what you're born with and win them with quality. That's what my pediatrician told me at my pre-college physical.

So what you're saying is that it's like a gigantic silicone implant.

the sudden need for a few here to rip on Spirit

Spirit admits his style is not for everyone and, in and of itself, is rippable. The sudden need arises from the news that Hong Kong is getting a bigger castle, which, when presented previously as a rumor by Spirit's nemesis, caused him to rip into said nemesis for being totally wrong. This has led to a lot of backpedaling on the part of Spirit with no clear apology since the blood between the two is so bad.

So, while Spirit's detractors hardly needed any excuse for piling on, this episode is making some of Spirit's supporters who have tolerated Spirit's tone in a Faustian bargain for insider info to reconsider their support of him as they see him go too far into trashing someone who was right (albeit, infrequently) while, at the same time, failing to keep up his end of the bargain with correct info.

Is it really that crappy? I thought the general consensus was that the ride itself was a pretty good dark ride (probably the best they've managed in the US in many, many years) but that people didn't like the location and the placement. From the videos, it certainly looks a lot better than Voyage of the Little Mermaid and I honestly kind of like the idea of a boat ride for a story like this set amongst ice and snow in Scandinavia.

If they solve the capacity issue, I really don't see why it would be such a tragedy for it to be cloned to HKDL. It's not like cloning was anathema in Disney parks up until about a decade ago. They've done it ever since they had more than one park!
Lots of people are definitely swooning over it but can't actually say what makes it good. It suffers all of the same problems as Ariel's Undersea Adventure without any of the scale. Even the "amazing" animatronics are wobbly, stick figure mannequins with a decades old gimmick that people fawn over. It's a prime case of brand over substance.

I haven't looked at the plans close enough to see if the back of the castle will extend further out; it very well may with new pieces added to to the base. But the concept art clearly shows the bulk of the structure sitting on top of the current one.
There is no room at the base of the castle for such a monstrosity to fit, so it has to be built adjacent to and behind the castle. Structurally it will [likely] be a separate building with the goal of it reading as one. I do think it's telling that the released images seek to obscure the new "improved" castle as much as possible.
