A Terror-rific Spirited 13th (ToT fans have lots to fear)...

Once we saw the enthusiastic way guests were reacting to Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT! at Disney California Adventure® park we knew we had to share this exciting new experience with guests at Walt Disney World® Resort.
It would just have to spun as a change due to guest demand.

Joe, please, mess this job up, just this one. You know, for the greater good.

Or screens as used in the Hogwarts Express, Where screens are PART of the show element they can be amazing, When they ARE the show element not so much as they are a lazy and cheap way to build the attraction.

I took my 11-year old cousins to Universal a few weeks ago. My cousin Mackenzie rode E.T. after riding all of the other new attractions and explained how relieved she was that there weren't screens everywhere.

I'm extremely skeptical of the "GOTG isn't taking over Tower" thing. I'm sad that I have to be skeptical and I feel like I can't trust Disney, but, here we are.

I'd want to know the exact wording. If it is "GotG isn't taking over HS's ToT", then that leaves room for a Doctor Strange takeover. If it was, "no Marvel takeover..." then it won't be touched.

Besides, if there was going to be a retheming, I couldn't see them taking ToT off line for the work until at least TSL was up and running. So, there's time.

Disney's been tricky before (as others have noted here) so I wouldn't be surprised at all. I just don't want people getting their hopes up that Tower is staying then boom, Disney announces it's getting rethemed to its IP of the week.

She must hate Epcot/Hollywood studios then.
The problem with Uni is pretty much all of their etickets especially at USF are screened attractions while at Epcot it's the attractions that are viewed as mediocre. When we are at Epcot we just usually skip the awful rides like Nemo, and so many of the films. It's hard to skip the main rides like Simpsons, Gringotts, despicable me, soon to be Fallon, Fast & Furious etc.

I love Epcot and Uni but they both use screens instead of sets to save money on most occasions, that's why Epcot is in the state it is. Imagine how outdated many of these attractions will be in 10 years at Uni.
It's best to have a balance. Take Shanghai Disneyland for example: dark rides, sets and screens ride: Shanghai Pirates (that's how screens should be done, used only on things where the ou physically cannot do IRL), rollercoasters, Soarin' Simulator, boat rides, omnimovers.

Epcot if you look at its main attractions: Soarin, Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land and Mission: Space, (technically Imagination but it is still awful), and Frozen it's an outdated but relatively balanced line-up (still very lacking and that is why it gets so much criticism). Epcot's attractions lesser attractions Universe of Energy, the many films, Nemo receive hate and it is not ignored.

Epcot is saved by The Walking done throughout World Showcase & Fireworks, even thouh only a few rides are great (like 3). Universal doesn't have that, and since it seems that is all USF is getting in the near future that is problematic. Seems like a classic case of history repeating itself.

Hah smart kid. My DH has a big problem with screens. He still insists on doing those rides, but he isn't himself afterwards. He gets dizzy and anxious. ET is one of the only Uni rides we go on where I am confident getting on it that he won't be messed up to all hell afterwards.
Btw, awesome avatar photo!!!

Those three things actually describe pretty much all of the "nothing but screenz" rides at Universal except for Despicable Me, Simpsons, and soon Fallon. They're all indoors (except for the first bit of Kong) and use their own internal lighting making them dark rides. They do feature physical sets in addition to screens as well, unless you close your eyes between the screen bits of course.

So, Chappie really needed to comment on ToT because of 'wittle old me? God, my ego would know no bounds if ... well if I actually had any respect for the man whatsoever. He should go back to selling Elsa dresses, Kylo Ren figurines, Thor hammers and plush. What he is good at.

I wasn't at said event because my VIP invite must have been lost in the mail, but really? Why in the world would you feel the need to say GotG wasn't coming to ToT in the first place? Yup ... I guess my voice must have some power. Wonder if it was the first ToT story I broke. Or the SDL menu and issues with the CCP. Or etc etc.

Oh, and just to be clear, I don't believe him. Not saying it will happen. I gave it 70% chance when I started this thread. Have heard nothing to change that view. But I want to be wrong, so I hope he isn't Lying Chappie. But recall it wasn't happening in Anaheim either, even when it was, until Disney was good and ready.

And he didn't say it was safe from change to another Marvel IP or anything, did he? He just said the Guardians attraction from Anaheim wasn't happening at WDW at this time.

I admit, knowing what I know, that I am surprised he is saying summer of 2017 for Pandora. My strong reaction is that ... yeah, some of it will open then. Will any of the actual attractions? Maybe one ... maybe a miracle and they'll get both done.

Of course, how is RoL coming? Are they giving a preview to the foo ... I mean fans who paid a ridiculous amount of money to be at this event? Doesn't seem like it. Doesn't seem like this project will ever get its act together although we know it has to open sometime.

And his smarmy response about EPCOT that for some reason is giving fanbois hope? What is the deal with that? I wasn't there, but friends were. I have had conversations. There ARE plans for the park. But adding more Disney, Marvel, Pixar IP isn't what I consider respecting EPCOT Center.

Oh well, hope all the fanbois and bloggers and lifestylers are enjoying themselves.

Wishful thinking, but they really need to overhaul the current Imagination Pavilion and bring back Dreamfinder.

It's really sad to me just how many people are trusting Disney (even people who aren't pixie dusters) when they've shown the last thing they deserve is trust. They've lied and lied and lied. And no one cares. And that's what I hate.
