- Honey I shrunk the Kids Playground
- The Magic of Disney Animation
- American Film Institute Showcase
- Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow (not there too long, but still closed recently)
- Daytime parade (Pixar parade ended in 2013)
- Osborne Lights (Seasonal)
American Idol was replaced by Frozen Sing-Along.
Streets of America as "an attraction" is very generous, as is including the seasonal Osborne Lights.
Disney Animation was replaced by Launch Bay.
AFI: That was part of Back Lot Tour which had stopped being about movie and TV production long ago. It also closed a whole year before the construction.
Legend of CJS was once the Narnia M&G and became the Magic Mickey M&G before it closed. Magic Mickey moved to a new location and is joined by Hollywood Minnie.
Yes, lots of closures, but also lots of replacements. And for each replacement one wants to complain about as not being good, many arguments can be made about what had closed as not being that good, either (Legend of CJS was awful, IMO, and was replace by a M&G).
If you want to know really how much has been taken away, look to real estate, not a list of things to do. Every building that isn't part of the construction is being utilized. Whatever was in those buildings that has closed, has been replaced with something new. Idol become Frozen. Millionaire becomes TSM. Sounds Dangerous becomes Jedi Film and M&Gs. Animation becomes Launch Bay. Big Wizard Hat becomes SW stage shows. Pizza Planet becomes Rizzo's.
The real estate that is taken away for construction had a finite list of things happening: BLT, LMA, playground, mostly unused flex theater, mostly unused stage set, a few eateries. Anything else you want to point to that went away has something else happening in its place.
People don't have to over exaggerate to make a point. DHS was always a small park, and is now about 20% smaller. No need to claim falsely it's half gone or a third gone (especially with a new big night show) or is just a toxic dump with Kylo Ren out front throwing a fit.
