Wow so few Original Content films coming from Disney in the next two years..

With that lineup Disney will be the number 1 movie studio for a while. At least 10 of those movies can make a billion dollars

6 "original" films, 5 excluding Bridge (Inside Out, Bridge of Spies, The Good Dinosaur, The Finest Hours, Zootopia, Moana)
9 sequels (Age of Ultron,The Force Awakens, Alice Through The Looking Glass, Captain America:Civil War, Finding Dory, Guardians 2, Episode 8, Pirates 5, Toy Story 4)
4 Adaptations of non-"Disney" works (The BFG, Ghost in the Shell, Doctor Strange, Black Panther)
4 Live-Action BRAND deposits of existing "Disney" works (Tomorrowland, Jungle Book, Pete's Dragon, Beauty and the Beast)
speaking of ghost in the shell.
I cant believe they are trying to whitewash that, by making it a story of a white european dude.
It was a story of a japanese dude in japan for gods sake!!!
Even George Takei was seriously pis*** at the news.

The Sea World coaster...could be late this year. Maybe early next.
I haven't heard a timeframe.

My friend used the term "fast tracked", but I believe that in this particular situation it means ASAP without going into overtime pay. Also little theming. This is going to be quick and dirty.

If they are going with the coaster type that Lee indicated there really isn't much you can do to theme it other than pretty up the station. On one level I’m surprised Blackstone loosened the purse strings, on another they desperately need it in order to transition into the future.

Or to stop the bleeding.

SeaWorld is not in great shape right now.

Forget the transition to the future part, they just need it ASAP to shore up their attraction offerings after disappointing with both Turtle Trek and Antarctica.

It uses Tomorrowland as a premise, the story is original. The simple fact is Disney has made its business off selling existing IP's, just look at Fantasyland, none of the most classic revered rides based on DIsney films are original stories.
Lets look at one of Disney's greatest periods in recent history
The Little Mermaid (1989), The Rescuers Down Under (1990),Beauty and the Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992), The Lion King (1994), Pocahontas (1995), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Hercules(1997), Mulan (1998), and Tarzan (1999).
Not one original story among them.
Fantasyland has always been about going into your favorite Disney animated films ever since July 17, 1955.

Here is another story warning CEOs about stock buybacks; this one from Moody's.

Moody’s to CEOs: Think twice before buying back stock

That's the problem, its an article from Moody's, hardly a source of mediocre information let alone anything pertinent. Besides, the stock buyback danger only could be a useful argument to companies like GE or Apple who purchase 50-90 billion worth of their own stock, Disney is nowhere near those numbers, no matter how much the faithful here wish to dispute it.

Buy DIS now, you won't find a better stock with more money making potential.

what's with the hating on drunk college kids at Epcot? Raise your hand if you weren't one of those once upon a time-

Those drunk college kids grow up to be employed professionals who take their families to Walt Disney World because of all the fun they had there when they were younger.

Right?
