My friend used the term "fast tracked", but I believe that in this particular situation it means ASAP without going into overtime pay. Also little theming. This is going to be quick and dirty. The Sea World coaster...could be late this year. Maybe early next.
I haven't heard a timeframe.

Or to stop the bleeding. If they are going with the coaster type that Lee indicated there really isn't much you can do to theme it other than pretty up the station. On one level I’m surprised Blackstone loosened the purse strings, on another they desperately need it in order to transition into the future.

Fantasyland has always been about going into your favorite Disney animated films ever since July 17, 1955.It uses Tomorrowland as a premise, the story is original. The simple fact is Disney has made its business off selling existing IP's, just look at Fantasyland, none of the most classic revered rides based on DIsney films are original stories.
Lets look at one of Disney's greatest periods in recent history
The Little Mermaid (1989), The Rescuers Down Under (1990),Beauty and the Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992), The Lion King (1994), Pocahontas (1995), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Hercules(1997), Mulan (1998), and Tarzan (1999).
Not one original story among them.

Yeah, the land has been. The story is 100% original. It's still based on a brand (a sixty year old theme park land). It is definitely not an original idea.
