Cute, but fyi this isn't Spectro. That's MSEP. You can tell by the turtle, snail and the Alice butterfly float...

Yes!So what is the parade now? I couldn't stay for the parade last year. Is it still the Electrical Parade?
Yes!
There are plenty of floats in MSEP that are "mostly black with lit outlines". The train float with the MSEP logo is a good example of that, and there's a lot of black on the pirate ship and even Elliot the dragon. Spectro has floats with black parts to them as well, but there are still plenty of densely lit Spectro floats such as the peacock, carousel and Mickey's float. Both parades have this equally from my extensive viewing of both. And both needed upgrades equally to address this (Spectro never will be unless a new parade is made, and MSEP will likely be run to failure, neglected and eventually scrapped like Spectro once it has run its course).I remember Spectro as 50% solid black floats with lit outlines, and street "performers" who mostly walked and flung their arms about. MSEP has more color and better dance choreography.
Spectromagic was my favorite parade. i LOVE it...... i can't believe this. i'm so sad!
Over on micechat, a new press release from HKDL came out and the new night parade is supposed to be bigger than TDR!!
Will DL's be on the same level as MSEP/Spectro/Fanti?
Will HKDLs and DLs be identical parades? And are we sure the parade will be going to DL? DCA has the new longer parade route.. if this is going to be a major light parade I would think they would want to use DCAs route?
Different budgets.
Fixed it for you.
Does anyone know now how much stuff was salvaged for reuse/sale as surplus?
I assume Spectromagic was never upgraded to LED lighting, so none of the lighting was salvaged?Propulsion systems, batteries packs, computers and radios were pulled.. and a few of the figures (like J Cricket.)
