1987 Magic Kingdom Pictures!

My mom was looking through some boxes and found lots of old pictures from various theme parks. Kings Island, Carowinds, and of course the Magic Kingdom. She thinks that they were taken in 1987 but one of the pictures has a banner that says "15 Years" so I think it has to be 1986 unless they left up the banners. Can anyone help me out?

It could be 1987; the party ran for a year from October 1986.

Those are awesome!! I nearly shed a tear for the 20k pictures. That was my favorite ride EVER! I don't have any pictures of it, and I miss it.

Park was certainly alot better than. Although I didn't have the opprotunity to visit WDW until 1993 but at least I got to see the real WDW for a few years before poor management started bringing the place down starting in 1998...

We visited the park that year. Got maps, napkins and tee shirts with the 15 year design on them. Do not recall the name of the show. It was my sons lst trip at 8 months old.

Thank you WDWFan100. I am also a lover of the trees in front of the Castle. I want them back!!!!!!!!!!!! Walt wanted them there too.

Well, perhaps the trees were getting TOO big -- but without them it's like putting a prized painting on your wall without the beautiful matte and frame.
I believe they just enhanced a beautiful icon! Yes, I understand it makes for better show and Wishes viewing but it's just too stark. My personal opinion of course. I will try to post some gorgeous photos of Castle with trees.
