I am always up for 80s pictures from The World. 
I'm pretty sure we made a trip down there that year. I know for a fact we were there in '88.

The only time I have ever been, August 1987. I remember that song, the celebration and thank you for clearing up the timing issue. Could not understand the 15 years!
I still remember so much but one of my Mum’s memories was me wandering off after the parade (bad habit but I was 6) and how amazing, professional and quick the staff were at finding me. I’m pretty sure they had me spotted in three minutes - long time for her though! I’m so curious how it would feel to go back...

It looks like the castle is in the real world, like it truly is in Bavaria. It is a great look...but I do prefer WDW without. Hopefully the real castles in Bavaria continue to exist in a forest though

No, Jungle Cruise is in Adventureland. 20,000 leagues is where the new Fantasyland is located. Toon Town no longer exist either.
Ah, ok. I distinctly recall Toon Town. However, I have no memory of visiting 20,000 Leagues as a kid. I'd bet my parents have photos of 20,000 Leagues too.
Thanks for sharing! I appreciate the 80’s vibes. Space Ship Earth was being constructed during my first trip.
