    Where to dine?

My mom and I are trying to decided on a good restaurant for dinner the last night of our stay in October. We are not fancy people and are just looking for a good meal somewhere nice because it will just be the two of us and her older cousin. With the exception of a few very popular restaurants...

Ideas for those who go to WDW every year

We've been at WDW also the last 4 years in a row, but we manage to do at least one thing that is new just to change things up. Disneyquest is fun especially if you've never been. We went a few years back and had an okay time. It is one of those things that was more fun when I was little...

October How busy and some info needed on mnsshp

Wow, not what I wanted to hear at all ! We arrive the Thursday after Columbus Day and leave that Monday. I was hoping crowds wouldn't be that bad at least on Thursday and Friday. Oh well, I'd still rather be at a busy Disney than at home ;).

    Worried - 16th Feb 08

September is one of our favorite times to go because it is not really busy at all. Other than January and February, I believe it is one of the slowest. I would still recommend doing things early, because the heat and humid is brutal. Good luck, and have a great trip!

    Wishing My Summer Away!

Same here. I love having the summer off from teaching, but our trip in October makes it very hard not to wish away the next four months. On the plus side, I've already begun to plan our trip for next May, so when we return from our trip in October, the only thing I will be wishing away will be...

    Cinnamon pretzels

Wetzels is the only place I can think of. However, if you are a sweet lover than you HAVE to check out the cream cheese filled pretzels at the Launching Pad in Tomorrowland (I think this was suggested). My DH and I always make it a point to stop there on our trips. If they ever take them away we...

    Disney overload......brain shutting down!!

My vote goes to the Caribbean Beach Resort too! I have never stayed at Coronado Springs so I cannot compare on experience, but if you are looking for a resort that provides you with a get-a-away experience with a Disney twist, than CBR is your place. I too stayed there in the 90s, but have...

    Ticket price increase

Thanks for the imput and links. I'll pass the info along so we can get our tickets before the increase. I plan on getting a 10 day PH with No Expiration so I can use it on our trip next May too. We did this two years ago, and it was the best decision. We decided to go all out and get the 10 day...

    Ticket price increase

Does anyone know when the prices for WDW park tickets go up? I was thinking that I've heard it is sometime in August, but wasn't sure if this is correct or not. We have a trip coming up in October, and I want to make sure to get our tickets before the increase. Every dollar saved is one more I...

Oct 2010 Roll Call Too Early??

Our countdown is under 5 months; 150 days from today to be exact! It cannot come fast enough. Everywhere I go I hear, smell, and feel Disney....Girls only trip to OKW from 10/14-10/18. I'm so excited for our trip, I'm already in the works of planning one for next May with my husband and I. Good...

May or August: When to go?

Wow! The responses have been great! I can't believe the support May has gotten. The only downside of May is that I will have to take a week of work unpaid (I'm a substitute teacher), but I will just have to factor that into my savings. After I thought more about it, I am leaning towards May...

May or August: When to go?

I am in the works of saving for a surprise vacation for my DH next year, and the only decision I have left to make is what month to visit. My first choice would be to go in September which we have found to be our favorite time to visit, however, my job and grad school schedule has left me with...

    When in May?

Are you planning on going this May? If not until next year, I would recommend going the week following Mother's Day. We've gone at this time twice and have always been pleased with the warm weather and low crowds. Last year the temps were in the low 90s so the waterparks worked out great. If...

Booked at Saratoga for honeymoon, should I move?

First off, let me say congratulations are your upcoming marriage:sohappy:! Next, let me assure you that you will not regret your decision to spend your Honeymoon at WDW. My husband and I spent ours there four years ago and had a great time (and I think we are about your age now, 29 & 28). Of...

Moderate Resorts - Your views on them?

I am an avid fan of the Caribbean Resort. This was the first Disney resort that I remember staying at when I was little and have returned for many visits since then including my honeymoon a few years ago. We have stayed in all categories (Value, Moderate, Deluxe, & Deluxe Villa), but when we...

Just booked a second trip to WDW!!!

It's good to know I am not the only person who finds immense joy in planning Disney vacations! I love the planning just as much as the actual vacation because it adds to the anticipation of what is to come. We just booked our airfare for our October trip and became really excited. Each new step...
