Disney rehiring when it opens back up again

In May 8000 new DCP students will be arriving and have not been told not to report. They even did their housing/picked housing last week as usual. So I don’t think staffing will be an issue for when park is to reopen. ;)

Walt Disney World annual pass price increases now in effect (February 2020)

For us personally we save a ton on admission alone with a Gold pass. When we have one we go 1- 2 week trip (that alone we get our money’s worth being we stop in a park every day or more than one). Gold pass $719 now (bought ours at $699 again sat though) vs. park hopper for 14 days total of...

Walt Disney World annual pass price increases now in effect (February 2020)

I get what you are saying and yes I know you said “limit”, and I know school breaks vary greatly, but In general all the ones I listed minus Mardi Gras, are the most common to have that most (not all) have at some point, outside of Easter and Christmas. Still plenty of times to choose to go...

Walt Disney World annual pass price increases now in effect (February 2020)

Yes correct just was looking at historic info. (I knew I had been buying it a while haha) Anywho my point basically is the Gold pass is still good for families and hey yes the other passes don’t have blackouts and prices would of gone up to where they are today regardless for the passes. So I am...

Those families with Gold still can go during Thanksgiving, all summer, Mardi Gras week(many southern Louisiana, some Miss.and Alabama schools), Fall break, Spring break (many spring breaks are not those 2 weeks surrounding Easter that are blacked out, or in addition to some have a spring break...

Been getting gold for 10 years and always had the blackout dates I don’t call that recent years. Haha. But yes I know all about the other passes I bought regular passes (what is called platinum now) before we joined DVC so were buying those over 10 years ago. ;)

Walt Disney World annual pass price increases now in effect (February 2020)

Thank you! I’ve never paid $200 and been buying one over 10 years. He is thinking of Silver I think not Gold. That one has a ton of blackout days including also the whole summer, and no memory maker etc. Gold is exact same pass as platinum just has only 4 weeks blacked out total a year...

Walt Disney World annual pass price increases now in effect (February 2020)

I think you are thinking of a silver pass! Gold pass includes everything platimum does. Only difference is 4 weeks are blacked out that is it. Week before Easter and after Easter and Week before Christmas and after Christmas every year. Gold was never $200 or around that, always been as long as...

    Breakfast recommendations?

Our fave breakfast reservations are Kona Cafe @ Poly, Boma @ Animal Kingdom Lodge, And ‘Ohana @ Poly (character breakfast and only 1 credit). No there is no table service breakfasts at Pop, but the food court has breakfast and that can be a quick service credit or get items as snack credits. :)

Does Jiko always have the macaroni and cheese available, even when not on the menu?

Yes I have asked for their delicious Mac and cheese numerous times when it was not currently on the menu and they’ve always obliged. No guarantees though, but never had an issue myself. Best Mac and cheese on property! 😊

The Porterhouse switched to this which frankly would love to try it being it’s wagyu: We love Le Cellier and their filet and ribeye is amazing too. We eat there every single trip. And yes BOG Is now 2 credits like Le Cellier And Is a pre-fixe menu now. :)

How early in the day can you make your dining reservations?

On site the whole time and never run out of anything to do! And still have not done it all or ate it all not even close. Lol We do usually go to Celebration part of a day, and have gone to Uni one year, but 98% of the time we are on property in our fave Disney bubble me and the hubby. 😊

How early in the day can you make your dining reservations?

To add you actually can book 11 days total on 180th day. We always stay 2 full weeks and on 180th day we can do 180 + 10 so 11 days total. I do first 11 days on 180 and the last 3 each consecutive day after. (Yes we always have at least 1 reservation every day even arrival and check out day...

EMH crowd levels late in the day

We do all evening EMH’s and crowds have been minimal for us at least at all parks. We never miss an evening one while there. And yes sometimes we leave a park closing earlier and head to the EMH park for the rest of the evening. ;)

No it has not changed you can still covert to 3 snacks per QS or TS credit. Same as always and have been able to do it at Festivals for as long as I can remember! Been doing it for years and have done it after the changes too. ;)
