We have been members for 9 years and have never regretted it. We go to WDW often and have also used our points "outside" of the Disney Resorts. Since we joined, 4 others at my place of employment have joined and all are happy. You'll love hearing "Welcome Home"!

Is it accurate that they are not starting the Osborne Lights until 11/28 this year? They started so much earlier last year.

Called DVC member services yesterday (5/27) at 9:50 am 180 days out for Thanksgiving week. Did get into Liberty Tree (late lunch) on Thanksgiving and Le Cellier for a dinner on friday but only had choices of 2 times! We were fortunate to get all the reses we wanted but to those of you visiting...

We have stayed at SSR several times and actually request a DTD view. We have never found it noisey and the view (especially at night) is fun. Enjoy your stay!

I agree about the Cali Grill. Actually I was there with 2 friends for a "girls get-away". View is wonderful but the service the last 2 times I have been there has been poor. However if you've never been there, it's fun.

You didn't indicate if you will be dining with children. We have always enjoyed Jiko in AKL and Narcoosee's at the GF is nice if you can time the reservation and watch the MK fireworks. These are a bit more "adult" oriented.

Just returned from OKW. VERY DISTURBING! We called about the mugs and were told they were removed "for safety reasons". We were provided with 7 styrofoam cups that were never replaced during the entire stay even when we called and requested more. We couldn't figure out why it's "safe" to...

Did the tour in January. Great fun and very interesting. One thing I didn't see mentioned, when you book your tour don't forget to ask about discounts. I know DVC and AP qualify for discounts. Have fun.

My experience has been you can get decent rates (from Pennsylvania at least) on Southwest, Airtran and sometimes USAir by waiting till about 4 - 6 wks. before your trip (holidays excluded). Take the risk but you need to check every day and more than once!!

We also are on a wait list for the 3rd week in August for BCV however we are fortunate enough to have a reservation at BWV if that doesn't become available. Why is it difficult to get these reservations? We have never had a problem in the past. Do you think they're holding inventory?

We were down last January beginning on Jan. 7th. We were fortunate to see everything we wanted to see including the Osbourne Lights. Everything was gone on Wednesday the 10th.

We are DVC members and have AP's, DDE card and have done the dining plan several times. It all works well together. A hint that we do to make the most of our points...book Sun - Thurs reservations. If you want the extra Sat. night, use the AP or AAA discount at a Value resort. By not booking...
