IMO… Sonic will probably land where the last one did…. I think there is a limited ceiling in the appeal… I believe part of the reason is some waiting till after Christmas… however Sonic is also typically front loaded…. It’s film that getS the fan boys out for Thursday previews over other films...

Rotten tomatoes has Mufasa at 88 percent audience score which is quite good…which I think is more indicative of good word of mouth then cinema score… we will have to see what happens…. As this time of year opening weekend does not always tell the full story… you often have to wait a few days...

You do realize that critics are just giving their opinions…. For example I think many of those titles are deserving the rating they received….It’s not wrong as that is my opinion… just as your opinion is not wrong if you disagree…. All film is subjective
