Can anyone help me out with the request below from a friend of mine if you happen to be in the area? "I need a high resolution photo of the map on Tom Sawyer's Island to blow up into a poster for my daughter" Would be greatly appreciated!

    Injuries at the parks

I was running from building to building at POFQ to keep out of the heaviest rain we'd ever seen and tried to stop on the sidewalk. I hyrdoplaned for a good 6 feet or so before my entire body pivoted at the hip and flew another 5 or 6 feet completely horizontally and then as suddenly as it I...

Which is worse: Pool hopping, using FPs outside the time window, ...

I stand corrected. I wasn't aware that this had changed.

Which is worse: Pool hopping, using FPs outside the time window, ...

Both are against Disney policy and one might be able to argue that pool hopping cheats guests at the GF (who are paying a lot more for the use of that hotel's ammenities than someone staying at the all stars) out of the abilty to enjoy the cabanas, pool chairs, or slides (I know it's a stretch)...

    Enchanted Tiki Room?!

I think "avoid it at all costs" is a bit silly. See it and form your own opinion. I personally think it's very good, I like it much better than the original which I found terribly boring.

Did anyone have their honeymoon at DW

For our honeymoon we followed a week in Sonoma and Yosemite with a week in WDW at the Beach Club Villas in May of 2004. It was hands down the best vacation we've ever taken. Brought back the best Disney souvenir available...Had our first son Feb of 2005...you do the math :animwink:

Faster than the speed of gravity...I don't think so.

I agree with you 100%. I guess I should have more clearly taken a position in my post. I'm very sure that it's true. The 1 and only time I went on tot (I'm not really into free fall type rides) I had just bought a coffee mug, in a box and a bag, and I put it on my lap. Somewhere near the...

Faster than the speed of gravity...I don't think so.

gravity facts... The thing that we need to remember here, which someone touched on, is that all of the definite 'rules' about gravity apply in a vaccum. Once you apply external forces, such as air - the rules aren't exact. The easiest way to put it is if you drop a brick and a feather at the...

    Victoria & Albert's

My wife and I have eaten there twice (it would be more if I had my way...) She is a very picky eater and has had incredible food both times. When you make your reservation they'll ask you if there's anything that you can't/won't eat and may modify the menu based on the reservations for that...

Disney Bans Kids from Victoria & ALberts

My wife is a very picky eater as well and she manages to find things on the menu each time. In fact the last time we went she tried things that she doesn't like (like anything with mushrooms) and absolutely loved it. They're very accomodating to special requests. It would even be worth it to...

    Dining Advice

san angel inn San Angel Inn is one of the most unique places to eat in all of WDW. The food was fantastic the last time I was there (July 06) and even if the food was average, the atmosphere is worth it. You absolutely feel like you're dining in a small mexican village. We don't go to WDW...

    Disney Parks TV coming!

On Demand There are different kinds of "on demand" programming. Pay and free. This likely falls under the free category. It's not a channel per se, you'd go to a menu and select it and then have access to another menu for the various different sections of the 'channel'. It sounds like I'll...

Grocery delivery to our hotel room?

groceries I would just contact the front desk at the resort, they will be able to direct you to the right place. Disney Vacation Club offers grocery delivery to your room to vacation club members - you get a form to fill out before your trip and everything is waiting there when you arrive...

    Romance in Disney

Best dinner possible I know it's super expensive, but there's nothing in WDW more romantic than getting all dressed up and going to dinner at Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian. My wife and I went on our Honeymoon 2 years ago and went again last month with friends. It's a truly...
