Pay more, get less. When does it end?

I happen to Love Figment. And I agree that's its more of a money, money money deal to Disney executives now. You pay more for less. Although I love and still go to WDW every year there is defineintly a decline in entertainment

Where do you draw the line of affordable?

Being a Disney fan, I go to WDW every year. I do go on a budget. I plan my next vacation when I get home from the last, giving me a year to know what the cost will be. I stay in a value resort, look for free dining or other saving plans, go at value season and watch the airlines for the cheapest...

Fill me in on the Polynesian...

I have stayed at the Poly numeruos times It is a very nice resort. The resort feel is as though you aren't in WDW, but on a Island somewhere. Its theming is probably the best in Disney World. Being on the mon line in great too. However, I have stayed in all mon resorts, and my opinion is that...

    Anyone wanna review my itinerary?

I agree. I think you should save money by switching to the basic dining plan and eat some fast meals because the traveling time between resturants and the time eating will leave you no time to enjoy the parks and you wont even be hungry enough to enjoy the resturants.

    Need help planning 1st trip...

I go to WDW every year. The Movies are a nice resort and they will try to honor your request for Toy Story. I dont know if Toy Story is a pereferred location or not. I always request pereferred rooms, closest to the main building. All of your dining reservations are good except for leaving...

    Which Deluxe Reort?

The Contemporary Tower Theme Park View is my favorite resort, hands down. I love everything about it. In the Morning, starting your day, you exit your room and you already have a view of the stores, the Chef Mickey Resturant, all thye bustling noise of fun, and the monorail driving past your...

    A little Help Please

June is a better month. I've been there both months, both very hot, but April was always more crowded when I was there. The Contemporary Hotel is the better choice with small children because it is on the mon line and makes much easier in and out of the parks. Unless you are a real Epcot fan...

Is Spontaneity at WDW in Danger of Extinction?

I agree that the spontaneity is very much out of the Disney vacation. I have been going to Disney every year since 1985. It has hugely changed. With the popularity of the dining plan, it is impossible to have a nice sit down dinner without advanced reservations. Years ago, with three or four...

Which Disney resort in January? no kids

I love the MK tower room of the Contemporary. You are near great resturants, and at night if you are tired you can just sit on the balcony and watch the fireworks. You can hop into the MK anytime just for a dinner or ice cream, and I have found the bus service to everywhere else quite good...

Which Dinner show is worth it?

:wave:We really enjoy the Hoop de doo. The Spirit of Aloha is nice, but its not air conditioned and when the weather is hot it can be very uncomfortable. The Hoop de doo is corny, but a lot of fun. We usually book it for the last night of our vacation, Its sort of a tradition. You will probably...
