We stayed at PORS one year during Pop Warner week. OMG. Cheerleaders EVERYWHERE. I think the bus and food court was the worst. The "Mouse Police" had to walk around our bldg to keep them quiet at night. We no longer go that week.

Not paying out of pocket while on vacation is why we always do it. We have been 5 times- 3 times we happily paid for the dining plan (2 times free). We make our dinner reservations 180 days in advance so we get can get the most bang for our buck.

Looking for advice on where to eat lunch at HS. We will prob eat at Backlot one day but no idea for the second day. Any help?

I was wondering about your thoughts on the Family Magic Tour. We go in December and were thinking of adding this for the kids. I have read some Allears reviews~ but was wondering if anyone on here had done the tour and if it will be good for 9 year olds? Thanks!

We do pre-order the photo pass cd. We have tons of great pictures, that the whole family is in. BUT....IMO the photo pass cd is like the dining plan...you have to work it to make it worth while. We always have between 200 and 250 pics on it and most are really good.

I bought a "lot" of pins on ebay a few years ago. It worked out really well for us. They used those pins to trade. Funny thing though...My kids spent more time deciding which pin to buy (they each bought 1 at the end of each day), than they did trading. Then they quit trading all together...

Wish- that is the same pin code we got. I just thought it was strange to not include that week. But---We can work around it. :animwink:

Hmmm...well in the past it seems they have run specials DURING low crowd times to increase the crowd. I guess that is what I don't understand.

We have a trip booked for the first week of December. We chose this week for the lower crowd levels. SOOO...We have been getting pin codes for that time for 40% off all rooms, Excluding Thanksgiving week AND the first week of December. I don't get it. Anyone know the reasoning behind that?

I wouldn't make 2 reservations, I don't think that is cool. BUT...that being said...When we go up to the podium to check in, it's not like they were holding a table for us. If you don't show up, I guess it would be like a gift to someone with no reservation? It's not like it is a lost...

This was one of our favorite character meals. The costumes were super. We are very disappointed. Minnie's dress was my little girls favorite!

We stayed there last Feb. Our Preferred room was on the end of the 70s building...closest to the main bldg. As I understand, you could be in any bldg...close to an end...close to the main bldg and that would be a preferred room. I had friends on the end of the 50s bldg. Did that make...

We booked magic your way with dining. I also booked all dinner reservations, the aqua seas tour and bought pirates and princess party tickets. THAT is why I thought we might just send other folks...its a super nice trip! I am still holding out hope for my daughter to be well enough to go...

I confirmed our trip for next week last month (this trip has been planned for over a year). Since then my husband has lost his job, been going on interviews and now my daughter is sick. Very sick, not just a cold. The big question is...What is the latest date I can switch the names around on...

I have been on 2 cruises (both a long time ago...), both times I used the patch. The 4 day cruise was fine, not a minutes problems. The last 3 or 4 days of the 7 day cruise, my vision was so goofy I couldn't read the menus. I had to have a friend read it to me. Distance vision was fine...

I agree. 14 or 15. You will be close to everything. We stayed in 14 last year and it was sooooo nice to be close to the main bldg, we used the food court for late nite (late for us...) snacks when we returned from the parks on the way to our room.

We had to move our trip to Feb. The 17 - 23rd.
