    I have a few gripes!!!!

I love Disney and we go every year at least once. I guess I am also guilty of not using the DND sign once my room is made up. I have always assumed that once beds are made, towels are clean and room is tidy, plus my tip has been removed that my room is ready for us to return to. Why would I...

    Port Orleans Riverside questions...

We have stayed at POR for the past six years, will be there again May 6 - 17th. We will be in Bayou as we have been for the past five years. We have stayed in buildings 35 & 36 the past few years very close to the bus stop. You have a longer walk to the main pool, however, there are six...

34 year old adult ...Is Disney worth it??

My husband and I went to WDW seven years ago to surprise our grandson (I was 50, DH was 53). The surprise was we were hooked. We have been back every May for the past seven years and cannot wait until this May. We have gone with our grandchildren and had a blast and have gone with two other...

    I'm going through DIsney withdrawal!

Hi, My name is Judi and I can't believe my DH and I are Disneyholics. Our first trip was seven years ago to surprise our grandson, I was a young 49 and we have gone every May since. It has only been 3 months since we got back and we can't wait until next May 6th for the next trip, just booked...

Cast Members: Sick of the Magic?

I read this site many times a day and rarely post a reply, however, this is one of those times that really makes me want to comment. My first visit to WDW was when I was 50 years old, 6 years ago, and I have been back each year since. It is the magic of disney that calls us back and that magic...

What is your favorite breakfast and dinner destination?

I love Boatwrights stuffed french toast at POR and our favorite dinner is the ClamBake at the Beach Club.

    Woke up today.....

We are going from May 9th until May 19th and I really wish the hours would be posted. We planned quite a few PS's and hopefully they will fall in line to the hours. I don't know if using last years will be benefical since we don't know how the war has affected them. POR in 36 days:sohappy...

    SciFi Diner

It's all about atmosphere and the burgers. It's a little pricey but you are in the land of the mouse so just enjoy. We took my grandchildren last year and they just loved sitting in the cars looking at the "old movie screen". Can't wait 65 days to go.

    Kilimanjaro Safaris Music

Thank you, Thank you, my husband and I have tried to months to find out where to find that music. You have just made our day. Now I really can't wait until May. Forgot to ask, is it available at any music store.

    The Feeling???

:veryconfu I agree with you, the AK on its own is great. The feeling most of us get when entering the MK is something really hard to explain to most people, I feel like I am 10 years old walking out of a story book, it is magical. Saying that, I think the AK does what it was intended to...

Fussy children at WDW? Heaven forbid!

First, I love this site and browse daily and I agree with points you have made. This is a subject that really gets me fired up. First of all I am now a grandmother who goes to Disney with DH most of the time. My grandchildren have gone with us twice. If you don't want to be around fussy...

    Tapestry leaving?

I agree, TOD gave you the feeling of being in someplace cultural. Jammin Jungle which ended up to be my favorite last year was just perfect for the AK as were the other two parades in the respective parks. TON gave me the feeling of being in a place for diversity, TOD didn't give me a feeling...

    Tapestry leaving?

I'm with you, I just hope they have another parade, I love walking through the countries and hearing the music. It would be great if it was really upbeat. I love Epcot and I wish May was here tomorrow.:)

    Tapestry leaving?

I agree that Tapestry of Dreams will probably not be missed by too many people. I would love to see Tapestry of Nations return, the music and the cast members in it were awesome, I saw this parade at least twenty times in a two year span and still play the CD all the time. Like anything else...

    Large People and Baby Harnesses

Have a great trip. There is no need to apologize for your mother or your daughter being in a harness. It would be a very boring world if we all agreed about everything. I personally don't like the harness, however, you know your child and I like you would perish if anything would happen to...

    Very Disapointed

DZNYNUT, I APOLOGIZE IF I MINIMIZED YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE AMOUNT OF RUDE PEOPLE YOU ENCOUNTERED. I FULLY AGREE A GREAT VACATION CAN BE MADE LESS MAGICAL BECAUSE OF THEM. I ALSO AGREE THAT DISNEY HAS BECOME LAX IN SOME OF THE MAINTENENCE AT POR. IT DOES SEEM LIKE THE HIGH STANDARDS OF...

    Very Disapointed

I normally just read the posts, however, I must reply to this one. I have gone to POR for the past five years (month of May each time), there has been a slight decline in the quality of the cleaning services, but with that said and with no disrespect for anyone on these threads, alot has...

    Port Orleans Riverside

We have stayed at Riverside for the past five years, every May and will be there again May 2003. The resort, especially the Bayou is so beautiful and quiet, there are always ducks and rabbits walking the paths over to the cotton mill. There is so much to do it's almost a shame because you...

Port Orleans: Alligator Bayou, Magnolia Terrace, or FQ?

WE HAVE STAYED AT POR FOR THE PAST FIVE YEARS. WE STAYED IN THE MANSIONS TWICE (THE ROOMS ARE BRIGHTER AND MORE THE FEEL OF SOUTHERN ELEGANCE), AND WE STAYED IN THE BAYOU THE OTHER THREE YEARS. THE BAYOU IS MORE RUSTIC AND THE LANDSCAPE IS UNBELIEVABLE. IT IS QUIET AND PRETTY. I LOVE THE...
