That is correct. To give every owner an equal opportunity to reserve, you can book at the 11 month mark for stays up to 7 days. As your wife experienced, you can add additional days by calling back each day. David

May is one of our favorite months to visit WDW as the crowd levels are relatively low and the weather good. We love spending time at the water parks in May then into the parks in the evening. David

Disney does their best to screen people for wrist bands as they move through the park, but it is very easy to stay in the park and grab a seat for the parade and fireworks. I don't think there is any way they can check everyone. David
