Hi,
Which Magic Kingdom Tour gives you a tour of the utidors under the Magic Kingdom? And how far ahead do you have to book? We are going in April and my daughter is finally 16 and old enough to take the tour. Thanks :)

Hi there soin2disney,

Not sure by what you mean about the utidors...? But if you pop over to this link, there is a list of all the tours that WDW offer in every park including the Magic Kingdom:
http://www.wdwmagic.com/Tours.htm

Or to be a bit more specific, this is I think what you may want:

The tour you want is the Keys To the Kingdom Tour. I did it this past April and the last part of the tour is the Utilidors. If you have a Disney Card Visa you can save 20% off the tour price.

I did the tour on my birthday this past April and only booked it 3 days before and was able to get in on the the first tour of the day at 8:30am. I would say book it at least a couple of weeks before you go.

Here is the link to info on the tour.

Yes, the Keys to the Kingdom tour will give you a breif look at the utilidors. It also gives you a brief history about the building of WDW, Walt and other intersting tidbits. You'll ride the Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion. Lunch is included and you might also get to go back to the parade float storage and maintenance area.

There is also the much-more-extensive (and much-more-expensive) Backstage Magic tour that visits three parks (not Animal Kingdom), and it includes a stop in the Utilidors.

Backstage Magic now goes to all 4 parks. Last November we took the tour and it was the first week they had added Animal Kingdom to the tour.

How did you like this tour. We've often thought about doing it, but couldn't pull the trigger each time because of the cost justification.

We Loved the tour!! (Use the Disney Visa for 20% discount) Our tour guides were great. We thought it was well worth the money. We took our 16 year old daughter and even she loved it (even the work shops). Lunch is provided at Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge and was really good. We had never eaten there and contrary to what I have read, the staff was just excellent without extreme goofiness:) It may depend on your guides because other reviews had listed different stops. We loved it so much that the next time we go around Christmas we will be going on the Holiday D-Lights tour!

I took the Backstage Magic Tour as well (before they added AK to the mix) and agree it was well worth the time and expense if you enjoy learning a little about the "magic" behind the scenes. We had a very enjoyable tour of the America pavilion at EP, and then of the makeup and costuming area as well. DS was terrific, and lunch at Whispering Canyon was superb. And then touring the backstage areas at MK was a treat, including the "utilidors." I may actually have to give it another shot now that Ak is on the itinerary. :)

We did the keys to the kingdom tour in August and thought it was great, only thing I would change was timing, we were on the last tour of the day, i would take the first one next time,

Well worth the money, DH and I learned so much and enjoyed ourselves immensely, we will do another tour on the next trip
